It misses commands very easily, and having an accent doesn't help at all

In the last few months this device will randomly stop playing music; ignore commands; and generally wakes only about half the time, and that's when I'm standing right over her

Sometimes Alexa misunderstands commands from TV shows and randomly blurts, "Sorry, I didn't get that

I would try to issue the same command several times to no avail

Item was refurbished and came with a incorrect a/c cable

so I purchased a new one but that didn't work as it is the actual unit that doesn't work

It recognizes speech but the speaker does not seem to work as it produces no sound

So disappointed as we used this all the time.
