Other than that, this is by far the best AI device you can buy

The device provides no network compatibility features so unless it is a personal wifi system with no password, the device is useless

This purchase turns me off from buying ANY more Amazon smart devices

It would have been a much better device if it had come with an on/off button, or caused less interference.

They operate my smart devices so it still works but as many others on this site and other forums have posted, you have to unplug the device and plug it back in for audio to work for, at most, a day but usually within a matter of hours

Since my husband is blind this device has been such a blessing to him.

I wish I would have invested this money in google home.. this is good only if you have smart devices to operate else its just plain old speakers..

Overall, this device is handy to have around.

This is the reason why we offer one year limited warranty to replace the device anytime when it becomes faulty."Needless to say, I am pissed that the device stops working after 1 year and 2 weeks and they will not replace it

Seems to have remarkably good integration with smart home devices.

In the last few months this device will randomly stop playing music; ignore commands; and generally wakes only about half the time, and that's when I'm standing right over her

I had a momentary brownout at my home yesterday and it killed the device

I like the sexy Alexa voice and the Echo device has an amazing feature, it can hear me from anywhere from my house.

so it works well as a music device.

It still controls the smart devices (turn on/off lights, tv, etc) but gives no response.

Highly recommend this device!

I am rating as a one, only because it WAS a great device but then completely stopped working - no power, etc.

This is a great beginner device but in my personal opinion it will need a lot more upgrades with different voices to choose from Also to be able to self learn and I believe Amazon will be on the cutting edge of technology with this device once they evolve it to a higher level of learning
