Does an extremely well job

It was very easy to set up, and it does a great job of transfering

Obviously it is not a top-of-the-line turntable, but for faithfully reproducing sound off old vinyls to digitize for CDs, it does a fine job.

Converted about 30 of my favorite LP's which I guess were in very good condition as the MP3's play very well, clean

Found a copy of the vinyl album in excellent condition on ebay - and was able to create several CD copies of the album for him.

But I tryied it yesterday, and it is wonderful to have Mp3 files for my favorite old LP songs.

I purchase these two item for my son, he is very happy with both and converting old records to CD , small tapes to Cd's, he loves technology and very happy with what these two item provided.

PUT A QUARTER ON THE ARM AND VOILA WORKED PERFECTLY.

The software is not bad but the turntable is junk and does not turn true and wobbles and he recordings are uneven.

Like one other user, I received a device with a turntable that was so uneven that the record physically rolled up and down as it spun, creating completely unacceptable "wow" in the recording

But this is a flimsy device (what can you expect for $49.95?) with an outrageous amount of turntable rumble, so you will probably want to look elsewhere if you need something to convert high-end LPs

Very good sound quality

The record player is a piece of garbage- the Fisher Price Close-n-Play had better sound quality.

Sound quality was terrible, with no low end.
