The AT95E that comes with it is a fine cartridge, but tends to be very sensitive to sibilance in the recording
I replaced the cartridge with my older preferred cartridge and stylus, there is absolutely NO HUM with my old cartridge.
I have discovered that the built-in pre-amp makes records seem plain and missing a little sparkle, but when running with the pre-amp from my Onkyo A-8015 the original cartridge is wonderful

No warbling, no jittering, no weird issues, no skipping, just perfect music playback.
Still a lot to learn regarding the capabilities of the LP-120 and testing out the digital conversion function, but my main reason for buying was to be able to enjoy the (I now realize) remarkable and thoroughly inimitable music of the 1960's and early 1970's
We took it for granted that excellent music would always be produced by musical artists going forward

I have never had an issue with purchasing refurbished products, they go through more vigorous testing than new products; thus the product would be better than new
And the warranty of only 1 year shows how bad their product is
