ClearStream 2V Indoor/Outdoor HDTV Antenna with Mount - 60 Mile Range

    • The channels are very clear and we haven't experienced any issues so far and really don't expect to.
    • The was a larger antenna that actually used a VHF Dipole as well as a UHF antenna to supposedly pick up the UHF channels as well as the VHF channels via the dipole augmentation
    • simple)I got 40+ channels (HD and Digital) clear and no distortions
    • All channels are crystal clear
    • Other antennas (the flat amplified ones) were missing a few channels, but I get all of them now with this antenna.
    • After trying at least 5 different types of rabbit ears, this antenna brings in channels clearly that were only intermittent before, and several channels we didn't have at all before as well
    • I have over 70 local channels (many in HD) streaming to my TV thanks to this fantastic antenna
    • and I have 28 crystal clear channels with no monthly fee!
    • I lost several channels and cannot get them to recieve now and the ones I do recieve are not reliable
    • Channel 2.1 out of Daytona (34 miles) always had a weak signal which varied from 0 to 15 (on 0 - 100 scale). All the other Orlando stations came in at 95+ with the C2.The problem was channel 2 was broadcasting from the VHF band
    • With the cost of cable and satellite going through the roof, we get enough channels over the air
    • I get 70 perfectly clear channels
    • As a test I put this on the second floor and the ClearStream picked up an unbelievable 50+ HDTV channels.
    • Better reception, more channels and the cost of the antenna seemed reasonable.
    • I get variable reception with weaker channels as I do have obstacles (large trees) in the way.
    • Excellent reception, 120 channels.
    • We get over 30 channels, and though I miss some of my favorite cable channels, I am so happy not to be paying a monthly cable bill.
    • I was missing the channel with the wind.
    • and I now get a stronger signal and 4 more channels for a total of 23 channels
    • NOW...everyone has to purchase multiple expensive HD antenna's, fiddle fiddle fiddle with them to find stations...and keep buying addtional equipment to raise, turn, etc the antennas...meanwhile, the channels freeze up, breakup, the reception changes with the weather...rescan over and over...fiddle fiddle fiddle with the equipment all day every day.
    • I'm close enough to most of the broadcast towers in my area that reception isn't a problem, but there are a couple important channels (CBS and ABC) whose towers are farther out, and I was frequently losing the signal in less than ideal weather
    • Fried had an older model and claimed he received all the digital channels free in the air w/in a 50 mile radius .He wasn't lying.
    • I never knew that I could watch over-the-air free digital channels in much better high definition than I've been paying for on cable TV
    • channels clear as a bell reception on 5 TV's
    • According to antennaweb.org, 74 channels are available in my area and I get all 74 channels with this antenna with an amplifier (not sure if the amp was needed but got it anyways just in case)
    • I had been using the "plastic panel" type antenna for the past year and under certain weather conditions (coastal fog) it wouldn't bring in all the channels like on a good day
    • With traditional rabbit ears, I pulled in about 7 channels with plenty of pixelation and lost audio, etc.: not an enjoyable way to watch TV at all.
    • The downside is that this atenna is not all that attractive and a bit bulky, but I'm happy with the purchase overall because it seems I do receive the channels available in my area (34)
    • The channels come in clear but they do pixelate every
    • The 60 channels is misleading as they include the many channels I am not interested in, such as the home shopping networks, religious stations, Spanish stations (I am not bilingual).
    • I now have 44 crystal clear channels.
    • When I turned on the tuner, it picked up every channel available in the area.
    • Sure enough, by manually adding channels, I had excellent reception on all available OTA channels with the exception of CBS 2.1 (the only VHF channel in Chicago - most Chicago area folks have trouble getting CBS via OTA signal, so I didn't fault the antenna for this in my star rating).Like an idiot, I called the Antennas Direct Helpline again to see if I could get some advice on picking up CBS
    • The channels do lose reception at times
    • I live 30 miles South of Seattle, which is just far enough away to ALMOST receive a lot of good HD TV channels

    • I picked up 99 strong channels (80 of them i will never watch), but the local FOX, CBS, NBC, KQED, ABC came in nicely and with blu ray video quality, much better than the cable company's compressed video signals
    • Both DB4 and 2V do well with strong UHF channels, but the 2V's superior VHF reception really made the difference for me
    • I would have to rotate it 12 degrees south to pick up two weak VHF channels ( 9 & 12) and then it was only 2 or 3 bars out of ten on the signal meter
    • Problem is, those few channels might not be the free over the air broadcast ones
    • and I'm getting about 30 channels, which is pretty much all of the channels available in my area
    • My LG TV had no problem receiving a couple channels that my crappy Tivo kept pixelating until I turned my C2 into a C2-V
    • This antenna on a 20 foot mast pulls in great HD channels in my area
    • But I still get a lot of other useful channels, including all of the major ABC/NBC/CBS/PBS/CW, etc. networks.
    • Picking up clear HD/Digital channels +60 miles.
    • When I hooked up the Clear Channel model, every channel from the major networks came in crystal clear as if I had cable TV or satellite dish

    • After programming I see many free channels
    • After re-positioning the antenna, I scanned again, found a few more additional channels and TV watching is now splendid

    • I live less than 10 miles from all the major broadcast locations in my area, but I kept having trouble pulling in two specific channels.
    • We get a good picture on most of the channels but some days the signal keeps cutting out on our favorite channel 7.
    • It possibly could -every channel available- with 75-100% strength, whereas my rabbits only got, at best, about 30-40%
    • I suspect that, when the leaves fall, channel 21 will return.
    • It does work and the channels are clear, so maybe try the cheaper old style ones

    • Reading the reviews on this antenna, I decided to go for it, since the reviews where in the positive side, but now that I had installed it, i am a bit disapointed, in a clear day i get a lot of channels nice and clear, but as soon as it gets cloudy or rains, a lot of channels go away, and some get fuzzy and they keep cutting up

    • So the clarity improvement, and extra channels can be attributed to this antenna
    • But, hey, these channels are free.
    • The remaining channels were very reliable since they were all UHF channels
    • Then, there was the added aggravation of losing local channels when the "free" local network and the satellite provider came to stalemates over contract negotiations and the networks blocked their "free" channels to coerce the satellite provider into paying more.
