all my existing channels are crystal clear with no pixelation and no signal/no signal
After pointing at where they are actually broadcasting from I get crystal clear picture.
We started with an amplified indoor antenna, but that did not work as we had expected, and were only able to get two or three main network channels at any time (after MANY attempts of moving all it over the room at various heights and placements)
Crystal clear on most channels and limited to 480i on others
The antenna works beautifully - I can get all the local over-the-air stations, and the HD picture is crystal clear.
The only thing I wanted to say is that this antenna works exactly as advertised
Works very well, as advertised and above my expectations.
We started with an amplified indoor antenna, but that did not work as we had expected, and were only able to get two or three main network channels at any time (after MANY attempts of moving all it over the room at various heights and placements)
The 2V also has two added poles to catch VHF signals and it works as advertised
We are very happy with the antenna - works just as advertised, even in our area, which is known for bad signal reception.
The UHF channels come in perfect HD and work flawlessly.
I get all the major channels and then some with a crystal clear HD picture
NOW...everyone has to purchase multiple expensive HD antenna's, fiddle fiddle fiddle with them to find stations...and keep buying addtional equipment to raise, turn, etc the antennas...meanwhile, the channels freeze up, breakup, the reception changes with the weather...rescan over and over...fiddle fiddle fiddle with the equipment all day every day.
No drop outs and a perfect HD picture (if available) on all channels.
This antenna on a 20 foot mast pulls in great HD channels in my area
Better quality than my cable signal for the HD channels.
Amazingly clear HD quality reception with local channels
Poor quality junk, Even when used with an amplifier I could barely pick up any signal from any direction
The build quality is good, and the UHF reception is good
Previous to this I tried a cheap "30-mile" amplified RCA antenna from Walmart, but had poor reception quality and it's amplifier power supply went dead in 2 days.
We started with an amplified indoor antenna, but that did not work as we had expected, and were only able to get two or three main network channels at any time (after MANY attempts of moving all it over the room at various heights and placements)
The result did not disappoint as I got the vast majority of stations I was hoping to get.
I scratched my head for a while and came up with going to my hardware store and buying a 5' long steel pipe for the mount instead of using the 1'it came with
But, I was still scratching my head as to why WFMJ out of Youngstown still wasn't coming in.
I highly recommend this antenna as it picks up signals better than any indoor outdoor antenna I've ever owned
We cannot get line of sight from our home, but the antenna is mounted rooftop as well as we can position it.

I finally settled on the original configuration aimed at the main source of signals in my area, however I did use an external combiner with a built in FM trap instead of the combiner built into the VHF element
The result did not disappoint as I got the vast majority of stations I was hoping to get.
He recommended I buy and FM Trap and attach it to the antenna
When I asked for instruction regarding how to attach an FM Trap to my Clearstream antenna, he said, "Put it between the antenna and the coax cable

Like I say I don't mean to knock the Mohu which is a good product at shorter range and in less difficult conditions
Not only did I have the same problem as the Mohu, but now via fading in and out, I was losing some UHF channels as well
Not only did I have the same problem as the Mohu, but now via fading in and out, I was losing some UHF channels as well
I tried many antennas including the famous mohu leaf indoor antenna and the winegard flatwave
Still currently using the cheapest old indoor mohu leaf , added a rca pre amp from another amazon order , ran a cord to my attic, pasted it to the wall in the direction according to tvfool .... working better than any antenna I have tried including the mohu sky
Finally we mounted it at a height of between 9-10 feet above the ground and were even more surprised to get 97 channels at the time, 108 channels today
The pole is about 25 feet from the house and the signal is split 5 ways.
I was surprised at how compact it was - roughly two feet on a side
A friend purchased one and she is able to receive 43 channels at 5 feet above ground due to a good line of site from towers, she was also able to pull a station in from 74 miles
This antenna replaced a twelve element VHF/UHF yagi installed outdoors on two-story home at 45 feet above ground
