You will need a compass and there are several websites to help you determine the correct heading for best reception.

Assembly was kind of a pain: instructions seemed to be out of order, bolts seemed to switch from Imperial to Metric, and the lags that bolted the assembly to the roof had a head the same size as the hole it went thru, meaning it could pull thru without a washer
