Frustrating...I purchased this extension because I thought it would help to improve my OTA reception.

I cut the very very very basic cable service I have and while I don't have as many channels as I had before I am getting great reception (80-90% HD).

We installed the antenna in our attic and we now receive all of the over the air channels available in our area with great reception.

if you live near a major city or within 40 miles or live on relativity flat country you should be able to use this antenna and get great results if you live like I do on the fringe area with hills and ridges you may not get great reception

I get great reception most of the time (weather and time of day have an effect, but that's not the antenna's fault)

I'm within 30 miles of nearly all local stations and still have a very poor reception on several channels.

My broadcasts are west-northwest of me, and I had to point it west-southwest for best reception.
