I have adjusted it in and out, up and down, followed the TV Fool satellite coordinates and the best I can now get is 16 channels, three of which are often pixilated or show the weak or no signal screen.
We wanted basic TV without having to pay for expensive satellite TV.
I have to say, it beats CABLE, etc. as it's free TV after all
Satellite out due to thunderstorms FREE Digital TV to the rescue
My husband is very pleased to have channels to choose from and it's free TV!

There's positive reviews, so I'm convinced some people have had good luck with it, but in my experience, its a useless piece of plastic.
After spending days researching antennas, I settled on this antenna which had good reviews, was reasonably priced, and from the pictures made me feel like I was getting a nice-looking/sturdy antenna and not some cheap piece of plastic with some wires.
This antenna is NOT for fringe areas, it's not any better, and its a flimsy piece of Plastic!
you bet your billy buffers I can and will re align this beautiful piece of machinery with the touch of a button from the comfort of my living room
My review is that it's a very good piece of equipment if you can get one and keep one working.

Level up the mounting base and then mark the pilot holes to be drilled with a marking pen.4
Drill the pilot holes (with a drill bit about half the diameter of the bolt) into the marked areas.5
Line up the holes of the mounting base of the J-pole with the drilled holes.6
Drill and then secure the lag bolts into the pilot holes.7
