These are great floor mats for plush carpet

But very much worth the price as to the price of the other cheap floor mats

During research, found that "depth" means the depth to the hard floor, so includes the pile AND the pad, so I needed a deep pile mat that will provide support for chair even though carpeting was very soft.

Used on carpet, this mat definitely beats the flimsy mats that are made for hard floors
