I can see my carpet through the pad, but the pad is not crystal clear or invisible

I'm pushing 250lbs and previous mats used on the carpet (medium pile with decent pad underneath) would just not hold up and or create divots making rolling a chore.

Any pads (outside of doubling up) would crack within a week -frustrating!

I would highly recommend this fine chair pad.

My carpet is brand new and very thick with the best pad.

The pad itself is perfect for a room with thick carpets.

Based on my research and the reviews of other users, I ordered this particular mat, which is advertised as being for thick-pile carpet, even though the carpet in my office is just a standard Berber with a good pad underneath

I use my chair mat on a plush high pile carpet with a thick soft carpet pad.

It's staying flatter than my previous mat (on low-pile, sisal-style carpet over a 3/8" dense pad).

There is a soft pad underneath.

I used to protect 8lb padding with a fairly thick pile rug and it allows the chair to roll effortlessly.

I have Berber carpet and good pad underneath.

I have plush carpet and extra padding, and unlike my previous mat, this does not leave chair wheel dents while I am working at the computer.

This is the sturdiest chair pad I have ever used.

This is a very expensive pad, but I did not want a pad that would crack or break.

My office has a medium-pile carpet with a good pad underneath.
