These are not quite as compact, but very well built walkie-talkies.

Last summer, I reviewed a different brand of Walkie Talkie, and I found it lacking as to the distance you could communicate between the sets, so I thought this water-proof, rugged model might be a better fit for me, as we live next to the river.
