It was a great alternative to the over the door hangers that scratch the paint.

They are easy to take down and put back up (although the one that fell down pulled paint and some of the wall off).

*those* are flat-and-smooth on the back and so nothing to scratch the paint.

I'm not sure how the removeable feature works (if it leaves residue or damages the paint), but so far they have held up in the humidity of my bathroom very well.

There is a small piece sticking out on either side of the back/bottom, and when you are sliding this over a painted surface, those little poking pieces can scratch the paint - and it did.

Works as you would expect.

Wasn't sure these would work as I needed a robe hook.
