However I did follow the instructions and cleaned the wall

not the product's fault our wall is jus weird textures

I used the alcohol to clean the wall first, stuck them on and held for 10 seconds, then removed the hook and firmly pressed the base for another 30 seconds.

No wall damage!

I followed the directions exactly, I used an eye glass wipe to clean the wall since it's alcohol, and it's holding great.

The nice thing about command strips is they don't damage your walls if removed properly.
