Otherwise, the rubber ring makes the drive so bulky that the USB drive is at an angle when plugged into due to the laptop being so flat and low to the surface in which it is laying

The included rubber rings are about useless, but I replaced them with bumpers I molded in place from Sugru: Sugru SBLK8 Self-setting rubber, Black, 8 mini packs (8x5 grams)

The rubber rings keep falling off though which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 5.

The two rubber rings are are not well mounted and with normal use or carrying may fall off.

The USB so far has worked well for my music needs, but not without a few hicups on the CDJ's and a really slow r/w speed.
