I would have given that one 5 stars, I loved that thing, used it to death.
Funny I actually work in IT support (with 20 years of experience) and assumed this would be a great thing to have in the field
I recently lost one of the rubber rings as they do come off very easily, but this thing is awesome.
I love this thing, waterproof, nearly indestructible, as some of the other reviews have pointed out it would be nice if there was some type of string or something holding the 2 pieces together so you don't lose the case.
It is all dented up on the outside from the horrible things i put it through but the inside still looks brand new
I am a Dj and having a good quality USB for gigs is important
This product is like the tank of flash drives and it uses USB 3.0 technology so it's as fast as you can get
Most likely mine has a bad NAND chip on it, but the "Non-Stealth" line seems to use better-quality chips
great flash drive, minor design flaw though, the cap is not secured and would be very easy to lose as you have to take it off to use the drive
This product has been in a pocket along with keys for over a year, it no longer looks black because most of the coating has worn off, but it is still waterproof, (good quality seals) and is not marred up, just the coating wore off with keys scraping it day in day out for a year
It is just the right physical size and weight - not so light and tiny that it can easily go missing or fall to the ground without you realizing it, and not so bulky or heavy so as to be burdensome to carry around.
The Perfect Size!No matter what I put it through it lives on!I will definitely be getting more of this product in the future!
My only concern at all is the size and the lettering.
Has a good size storage, and great for speeding up a laptop as well

And, I absolutely love their pricing now which is highly competitive with other brands out there, but why would one pay an equitable price for an inferior product?
I wanted something that would protect against weather and possible smashing damage, but I feel like they could of created a slimmer design that was not so bulky and still accomplished the same goal and level of protection.
The protective cap can be a little difficult to replace at times, but its designed to be water

Ive been using this as my keychain USB for a while, but as good as its been, I feel like the design is almost too large.
Perhaps if I have time, I'll send it back to Corsair so they can figure out how to improve the design.============ original review below
It's high quality casing, means that your usb will never bend or break!
Not only does this "survivor" weigh a ton, scratch immediately, and shed it's rubber rings within a week, but it's quite possibly the slowest USB drive on the market for syncing music with Pioneer Rekordbox software, and for use with Pioneer CDJ's
I looked far and wide for a robust USB drive and this is the ONLY one that I found with real protection of the delicate chips and wiring.
The Survivor is really the best USB drive you can get since it will protect your data from drops and water
It has functioned well and it replaced a second USB flash drive that broke off my key chain.

if you are a dj, i do not recommend this very cool looking flash drive.

Otherwise, the rubber ring makes the drive so bulky that the USB drive is at an angle when plugged into due to the laptop being so flat and low to the surface in which it is laying
