Can you imagine the fire hazard if the hot plate continues at 230 degrees and a piece of paper or tissue falls on it

But the outer edges of the warmer and the bottom don't get hot, so I don't think it would be a fire hazard if left on over night

It's well built, and the warmer keeps the cup warm, but doesn't get so hot as to burn me on accident

The mug set is nice looking white in 2 weeks the cup I was using started to rust as you can see in the pictures, then a week later the other cup started rusting so the either use an inferior metal
