Hot plate is just a toy!

Can you imagine the fire hazard if the hot plate continues at 230 degrees and a piece of paper or tissue falls on it

I set the hot plate for 165 degrees F.

To cool off the warming plate I have to unplug from the wall or disconnect cord from the device.

they only have off/on switch they are the same size as these they are more like a mini hot plate they still work great

They are either, not hot enough, or so hot that if you accidentally have your cup hanging off of the warmer, it melts the plastic around the warming plate

What they should have done, is make the warmer put out more heat instead of adding a special cup that allows higher heat transfer from the hot plate.

I have found that even when you press the "Off Switch" and the light turns RED, the hot plate doesn't switch off.

Being kind of a geek for fine detail - I love the digital readout of the temperature of the small hot plate

The hot plate seems very hot as shown on the warmer's digital readout on the highest of 230 degrees, however the heat cannot pass thru a standard ceramic mug

Yes, when you first turn on the hot plate, it makes these very subtle low volume high-pitched beeping noises.

Only caveat is if you do turn the hot plate off before finishing your brew, it will get cold fast!

But different types of cups have different thermal conductive properties and not all of them have flat bottoms to maximize contact with the warming plate

So love this coffee warmer or shall I say it keeps your coffee as hot as when you first pour it better to use with cup that comes with it you can also buy the same cup with different color grip band that keeps your hands from getting burned that’s how hot your beverage can get you can adjust it to your perfect temperature

Everything works as it should, but it doesn't turn off

I love that it really keeps the coffee hot, but I dislike is if you use a different mug other then the mug it comes with it doesn’t keep the coffee as hot as in the metal mug.

The mug set is nice looking white in 2 weeks the cup I was using started to rust as you can see in the pictures, then a week later the other cup started rusting so the either use an inferior metal

You can set the temperature and know that every time you take a sip, the coffee is just as hot as when it first left the pot
