it does a great job and is in a class of DACs of similar price range

It is not the best stereo amplifier, but for powering a pair of bookshelf monitors that are connected to a computer, it does a pretty decent job

I wanted to keep the sound quality and SBX effects of my Sound Blaster Z and this so far has been doing the job well
