The EEE PC 1000HE comes with 1GB of PC-5300, but when replacing with the 2GB, it is better to go with the Crucial Technology CT25664AC800 2GB 200-pin SODIMM DDR2 PC2-6400 Memory Module as recommended

one.my only gripe is the packaging around the RAM has gotten nearly impossible to open - it's fine to use scissors to open the outer layer but the module is so embedded in the packaging, you have to use scissors to get uncomfortably close to get it loose.

She has actually damaged the battery for not shutting off the machine when it got hot
There isn't a whole lot to say about RAM, either it works as it should or it doesn't
Then the computer doesn't shut off properly, drains out my battery
What happens is the screen turns off, but the power never actually turns off eventually killing your battery
