    • This is the very best hot water kettle I've used to date.
    • I'm drinking lots of hot lemon water.
    • Water is now still cold when the kettle turns off

    • I love that it's stainless steel, relatively fast, holds a large amount of water, has temperature settings, and has a beep to alert you when the water is ready.
    • Previously, I had been heating my water to nearly boiling and just flat out ruining the delicate notes of my green tea
    • If you use water too hot it will burn & water not hot enough won't fully steep
    • The only thing that I wish was a little different was the beep letting me know my water was ready
    • The water level on the left and right of the carafe also makes more sense
    • Honestly this is a great water heater, but the lid broke within the first two months of purchase
    • Now I can warm my water very quickly to the perfect temperature, steep it to the length I desire, and have much less hassle

    • Solid water kettle
    • Fabulous product - well made, easy to use, perfect water temperature for every cup of tea
    • Since I drink a lot of tea, it helps that I have more than a liter of hot water at my disposal
    • and it won't boil water anymore
    • but it's worth it to have the screen in a place because of scale risk with hard water here
    • I guess Cuisinart wants people to know when their water is ready even if they're out mowing the lawn with headphones on
    • It never had problems with rust, and was always quick to boil the water to the selected temperature
    • so I can boil the water at a lower temperature for the kids hot cocoa, etc.
    • We've been using this to heat up water for coffee, hot water to drink (duh!), instant noodles, etc
    • Water was leaking from the bottom of the kettle into the electrical area which is obviously dangerous, plus when I tried to turn it on after two uses, it did not work.
    • She absolutely loves it, it boils water extremely fast
    • Bought this kettle in May of 2015 and have made more hot water for tea and coffee than I can possibly recall

    • I use the unit once a day to boil water for my newborn so the use of the unit is very light
    • It heats up water very quickly, and I love that I can control the temperature of the water.

    • Besides making americano style coffee and occasional tea, we keep the kettle going when cooking to provide constant hot water for cooking
    • It no longer automatically shuts off and keeps boiling the water after the water reaches a boiling temperature.
    • Water leaked out the bottom of the kettle.

    • (I have hard water but also a water softener)
    • If you have a stove and a teapot, or a convenient microwave, you don't really need this, but if you want hot water in your office, this is really nice to have.
    • Absolutely perfect for the perfect water temperature in the tea-steeping process
    • Now I'm hoping it just holds up longer than my other hot water kettles.
    • This pot is mainly for making tea, and what I really needed was a pot to boil water for making instant coffee
    • It broke after 2.5 years - started leaking at the bottom of the handle, water got on the floor and damaged it
    • so if it has timed out, the water is still very hot
    • Handy if you don't need water kept at ready to use temp
    • I love this tea kettle, it boils water quickly, it has multiple settings, it looks good on my counter, but it is so loud
    • Tea, soup, and anything else requiring Hot water
    • This kettle is supposed to heat water up to a specific temperature, rather than just boil it.
    • I'm used to it now, so I just press the button once again, but first few times I poured cold water into my tea
    • There is a button allowing option to keep the water warm, but it keeps it tepid at best.

    • Love it keeps the water warm for a half hour after heating
    • The water tastes like plastic
    • I have had one of these for many years and it still works fine, except that it now leaks water.
    • When I did this, boiling hot water that accumulated on the lid slid off onto my hand and burnt me.
    • it's so nice to not have overheated water
    • I will boil a little white vinegar inside to de-scale the inside from hard water buildup.
    • I have previously owned other brands that simply bring the water to boil then turns off.
    • Edit: Discoloration went away after I started using purified water.
    • And its memory keeps your water hot when you replace the pot on its stand after use
    • I’m big on tea, so the settings on this make sure my green teas and oolongs never get bitter because I boiled the water too hot
    • This kettle purchased 1.5 months ago does not heat water to appropriate temperatures, which is its essential function
    • The past month, the keep warm feature designed to keep the water warm after it's reached the desired temperature is working overtime and boiling off all the water in the pot
    • It was great while it was working cause I can boil water at different temperatures
    • We boil our water for coffee and tea and use this daily

    • This thing gets really noisy when it's boiling the water
    • The kettle will keep the water warm as needed
    • but I had never changed the temperature of hot water before!
    • You can boil to specific temperatures, boiling takes literally 60 seconds and the kettle will keep the water warm for about 20 minutes before turning off, yet the water will still stay warm for quite some time
    • blue lights, high-pitched continuous beep and no hot water.
    • The water is maintained hot until you are ready
    • (can't pry it open) and now we have to pour the water in thru the spout (so much fun).So for $80 plus
    • Some pluses: high capacity, 6 different temperatures for heating the water, but a major problem: there is no switch off button.
    • I treat it with a vinegar solution every few months to get rid of any hard water build up
    • Easy to use and warms up the water quickly
    • It gets one star for looks and another because it still boils water.
    • I love this kettle; it heats quickly, to a good number of temperature choices, from 160° to boiling, and it keeps the water at that chosen temperature for at least 30 minutes, making if great when you're doing a bunch of things and forget about your water, or when you want to heat up your cool coffee with a bit of hot water
    • The varying temperature settings and the ability to keep the water warm for an hour are both the reasons why I bought this kettle
    • Great hot water heater, with two temperatures and a warmer
    • What is this microwave thingy and why did we ever warm up our water with it!
    • Amazing how quickly water boils.
    • Love it only beeps when the water is hot.
    • every morning and it boils water faster than the microwave.
    • This is a nice water heater, but is pricey.
    • Once it's finished warming the water, I have to set it somewhere else to cool down instead of set it back on the plate, otherwise it will start to heat up again and freak out when there's no water (or unplug it).
    • There are a two main problems with it: 1)the water window is hidden under the handle, so it is easy to overfill or boil more water than you need, and 2)when you overfill it, the water seems to infiltrate the interior of the kettle and break it
    • If there was anything negative I could say is that near the spout on the inside is a piece of plastic that the hot water has to pass through before getting to my cup
    • The base has a slim profile and takes up little space on the counter; The electrical cord length can be adjusted under the base to avoid extra slack; The water level markers are convenient if you want to fill water to a specific amount without the need to boil more water than necessary, which takes longer;Water boils fairly quickly and accurately based on the taste of my French pressed coffee
    • so I don't get hard water residue in the bottom (this is why I threw my old one away)
    • Once you've heated your water and it beeps and you place the cooker back on the plate, it continues to boil the water as if the task isn't complete
    • I started using the "boil" button as the only one that got even warm water
    • Bonus use: the lowest setting is great for hot water bottles
    • I have hard water and keeps the particles out of my cup.
    • It's a nice shiny metal appliance, but very hot water is on the other side, and metal conducts heat very well
    • The water boils quickly and beeps just loud enough
    • The one thing that I sometimes forget to do is tell the kettle not to keep the water warm so it will keep boiling and beeping after I've left the room (but this is user error).
    • Before I had this, I would boil water on the stove like a barbarian
    • I like to make my own Tazo Iced Tea which required you boil water and add to a specially designed pitcher.
    • This is very nice for hot water, at first
    • This gives you the option to boil water to different temperature which is important whilst making different types of teas
    • Other kettles light right through the button's text indicating clearly the selected function, however those kettles were poor performers in supplying hassle free hot water (over boiling, steam, spout dribble, hard to clean).
    • Even if it says no plastic parts there is the plastic filter part which makes the water smell like plastic when it boils
    • Having the keep warm setting is really useful when you're not able to pour your water when its ready and keeps it at the temperature every couple of minutes.
    • I heat water in this, dilute with some cold water to bring the temperature down and wash the dishes.
    • It boils water well enough but it emits beeps when it's done, an unnecessary and annoying feature for me
    • I love the way my green tea tastes now that I use the correct temperature water to brew it.
    • I have a Keurig that we have owned for several years and usually use hot water out of it.
    • Anything you need to boil water for, this is how you should do it
    • After using this kettle for 4 month,Water started leaking from the base on the heating element and that is dangerous
    • Bottom line: optimal water warmer for tea lovers who don't want to spend tons of money on a Zojirushi CD-WBC40-TS Micom 4-Liter Water Boiler and Warmer, Silver Brown
    • 10-20 heat cycles a day, hard water, adults and kids banging on it.
    • Also use it to boil water when cooking pastas, cuts down cooking time!
    • We have had it since Christmas & now the top flies open when you pour hot water, but then to open it, you have to use your hand to open the top to be able to fill it with water.
    • If you sometimes make hot water early in the morning and don't turn on the lights so as not to wake anyone, you would hope all of the LEDs lighting this thing up would be helpful
    • Best pouring spout for smoothing pouring hot water without splashing everything else
    • Using the hot water faucet I would waste a couple gallons of hot water every time.
    • Love the different temperature choices even though I usually boil my water
    • To clean in areas with hard water, simply put an ounce or two of citric acid and fill with water, set to boil and let sit for 15-20 minutes, rinse thoroughly with hot water.
    • Sometimes use it to boil water fast for pasta - dump it in the pot on the cooktop after it boils - only 1.7 liters but tests show you don't get different results with 4 quarts of water
    • severe water leak after a few months
    • I drink herbal tea all day long and this little wonder keeps the hot water
    • Honestly, I love this pot with it's temp programs, but after 4 months suddenly I noticed that every time I used it, it leaked all the water out of the bottom all over my entire countertop
    • The preset options are very handy, the unit heats water quickly and quietly, and I love the small beep it gives to let you know the water is at temperature (and it keeps it there for 30 mins!).
    • 95% of the time I'm happy to use the preset temps, but every once in a while, I'd like water at 140°, or I'd like to use my Aeropress at the recommended water temp of 180°.That said, this is a great upgrade from our old electric kettle with the thermometer, and we love it.
    • Love this Cordless Programmable Kettle and the different temps to boil water for various types of tea.
    • At first I thought I was not adding enough water to the pot, but did some trials with a full kettle and found it did the same thing
    • The temperature range/selection is excellent and allows for more optimal water temps depending on the tea I'm drinking.
    • This kettle certainly looks good, but how it pours is really important when dealing with very hot water!
    • If all you're using this for is to boil water, then you should consider one that doesn't have this temperature sensor inside, might last longer.
    • What I like: variable water temperature that makes me excellent green tea - even if I forget to take the bag out, the water cools off quickly enough that it doesn't taste over-steeped
    • What I like: variable water temperature that makes me excellent green tea - even if I forget to take the bag out, the water cools off quickly enough that it doesn't taste over-steeped
    • It quickly warmed my water to a variety of temperatures for my beverages.
    • No more too hot water
    • I use it for different types of tea mostly, and often to boil water while cooking, and a few other uses
    • Finally, after it finishes heating, and I've poured the hot water into the third carafe along with a tea bag, I set it back on the stand, it lights back up, and I hit the start button again to turn it off, and I'm done with it for the day
    • Some hot water often misses the cup - beware!!
    • I use the 165 or 175 degrees for green tea, a little hotter for black tea, and boil the water for my ginger tea
    • So convenient to make coffee each am ( for our coffee press) and for any time quick hot water is needed
    • ; it's a little difficult to tell how much water you have as you're filling up since the level-indicator is delayed (water seeps into the indicator and the water level rises to the appropriate measurement after you've turned the faucet off).
    • Heats water quickly, easy to use, a must add to your kitchen counter!!
    • Almost one year after I purchased this kettle, when I was trying to boil water with it
    • This Cordless hot water electric heater is outstanding.
    • She absolutely loves it, it boils water extremely fast
    • There is also the option to keep the water warm for up to 30 minutes
    • Keeps the water hot after it has reached selected temperature.
    • very good, heats water extremely fast
    • Great teapot to boil water at various temperatures for herbal tea drinkers.
    • This is totally an excellent hot water kettle.
    • Over the past year, I've gone through several hot water pots.
    • Tends to come in handy for all kinds of things, so much faster than boiling on a stove, and so convenient that it keeps water warm when you forget to come back immediately
    • I never though water would boil so fast
    • Auto warm setting is also useful, it just re-boils the water after it senses temp goes down
    • still works well but has collected too much of the hard water.
    • Hate the coffee pots in hotels where the hot water tastes like coffee when trying to make a cup of tea.
    • Two buttons for perfect water temp
    • Heats up in seconds to minutes depending on how much water I'm boiling.
    • I soaked the interior with dilute vinegar to clean off hard water deposits from the temperature sensor and it worked for another couple of weeks and then it died again and couldn't be resuscitated.
    • Works great and really keeps the water warm for later use
    • I drink a lot of herbal teas, and my husband black tea, so I'm not sure if it is worth the extra money to have all the temp settings since they recommend boiling water to steep, but I personally like the water less
    • The lid can spring kind of forcefully, where our old one had a soft-open to stop hot water droplets from spattering
    • So easy to get hot water, with optional temps!
    • great electric hot water kettle - heats water to several temperature settings - settings for several types of tea and coffee.
    • ,it only has to boil water.
    • It boils water very promptly and several temperature choices are amazing

    • Great water boiler/heater
    • Sure enough water is leaking out of it
    • In December the unit failed to heat water, its essential function.
    • Very convenient water kettle for various types of teas.
    • Use it almost daily for coffee, tea, just plain old hot water
    • Also the ability to keep the water hot is nice as sometimes you aren't always able to get to make the tea immediately after it boils.
    • It withstood 10 months of running more than half the day (and night) to make hot water to heat bottles and tons of tea
    • Awesome hot water maker!!
    • The water here in MN is soooo bad, that even using twice filtered water, it has marred the interior surface somewhat but far less than the other models I tried
    • Some hot water often misses the cup - beware!!
    • only bad thing is with hard water, the element inside starts to develop scale on it.
    • It boils water and it boils it fast.

    • We have hard water
    • We noticed a funny taste in the hot water and then about 2 weeks after it became EXTREMELY noticeable and unpleasant
    • I only boiled water in the morning and never left it wired after using it.
    • and I won't return it for an exchange because it's an otherwise good water
    • that lets you know your water is ready be louder.

    • I like the keep warm feature because I use this at work and often get busy so the water is still hot when I return
    • Pour in water, press temp button, press start, water hits temp quickly and kettle beeps like ten times really loudly (which you can't turn off by the way so it wakes up everyone within earshot) , pour out hot water, replace on base, try to turn of by pressing start button as it says in instructions --- but it won't turn off
    • Before I had this, I would boil water on the stove like a barbarian
    • Does not retain the heat as well as I would like perhaps, but is otherwise a great kettle.
