Does a great job

It's easy to clean and overall does a great job.

After all the great reviews, I was genuinely surprised by the lousy job this thing does on bagels, and not that great a job on toast

This doesnt toast the sides evenly at all, does a decent job defrosting, but either burns or barely warms your items.

Otherwise it does a good job.

[fingers crossed] I can confirm that this one does an excellent job, evenly toasted on both sides and dark as I want, while still soft on the inside—so, no “melba toast” effect where the whole slice becomes a dry plank

Does a great job and easy to control toasting time.

The bagel setting works as it should and it does a really nice job of heating/toasting evenly and the adjustment knob doesn't seem to have any odd "jumps" in consistency; medium is medium, light is light, etc
