    Cuisinart Grind Central Coffee Grinder

    • I liked that I could remove the bowl to clean
    • The one design flaw that is unfortunate is that while this model comes with a handy little plastic lid to cover the stainless steel bowl if you have left over grind to save for the next day, you can not then return the grinding lid or cover to the device without having a gap
    • The detachable grind bowl allows for transfer of grounds to coffee maker or to transport container with minimal spillage or mess
    • grinding bowl (enough for two pots of coffee), and because the bowl's removable you can use it for spices, then wash it thoroughly before you use it again for coffee
    • It doesn't take up much space in my pantry and I like that it comes with a lid for the grinding bowl, so you can always remove the bowl and put the lid on it, if you ground some extra coffee
    • Now in the market for another stainless steel bowl, coffee grinder.
    • Now after each grind, I twist the bowl off immediately, which for some reason, seems to be helping with the bowl not getting stuck.
    • It is Perfect for my Coffee Beans just the Right amount of Grind and for so MANY Spices and being able to take the Bowl and Clean it is the BEST!!
    • Also, don't put the stainless steel bowl in the dishwasher (it contains an oiled gear on the bottom and you don't want to wash that off).
    • After less than 1 month of use, the bowl won't come off the base without a screwdriver prying it.
    • There's coffee in the casing that holds the bowl and I wonder if that is why we can't get it off now.
    • grinding bowl (enough for two pots of coffee), and because the bowl's removable you can use it for spices, then wash it thoroughly before you use it again for coffee
    • The wrong grinding bowl was included with the unit.
    • The grinder still works, but it is much more difficult to clean the grinding bowl now
    • I thought maybe the bowl wasn't secured or the blade had come loose.
    • Having this grinder enables me to save money because I don't have to buy a whole bag of oat flour, I just make the amount I need!Only improvement that I would like, is the fit of the plastic cover that comes with it for the stainless steel bowl
    • I particularly like the fact that the stainless steel grinding bowl disconnects from the grinder making it much easier to empty into the coffeemaker.
    • Difficult to clean and the detachable bowl feature is eliminated
    • I'd had one of the "regular" coffee grinders that I'd been using for both; but because the bowl was integral to the motor housing cleaning when changing between them was a chore.
    • My previous grinder (the one I thought this was like) had clear indentations where the bowl's locking mechanisms slid down into so that you could twist and lock it into place; this model, however, does not.
    • The blade on this DCG-12BC and it's bowl are quickly and easily detachable which means you can submerge the stainless steel bowl under water or dish washer and easily wipe it out.
    • Long story short, the bowl can be taken out and cleaned
    • I assume this is probably true of most blade grinders though and the detachable bowl was a nice feature to aid in this effort
    • There are two tabs on the bowl assembly that lock into place on the motor base, and they unlock just fine when I twist the bowl
    • I love the bowl that is removable from the base, for easy cleaning and pouring the grounds into the filter
    • Large 18-cup capacity, removable, dushwasher-safe bowl & one-touch operation Cusinart Coffee Grind!
    • I like the metal bowl, in the past other grinders have had the bowl crack or damage over time
    • Also, the coffee sprays out of the bowl when in use, which is annoying but not nearly as annoying as bowl.
    • Well on the second one, the stainless bowl (it holds the beans and grinder blade) got stuck on the grinder and would not come off
    • My old grinder worked fine because it had the correct sized bowl so that the plastic lid came down inside the bowl and coffee did not go everywhere.
