    Cuisinart Grind Central Coffee Grinder

    • I particularly like the fact that the stainless steel grinding bowl disconnects from the grinder making it much easier to empty into the coffeemaker.
    • One is easier to clean than the rest:If you clean your grinder between grindings I will say that the Cuisinart is the easiest to clean because the bowl is separate from the main housing and is essentially one stainless steel piece
    • This is a beautiful grinder and the stainless steel body gives the impression of ruggedness
    • I was impressed by its brushed stainless steel finish and large capacity cup and the fact that they would purchase a quality name like Cuisinart
    • I originally bought it because I liked that it was stainless steel and matched my coffee maker.
    • The one design flaw that is unfortunate is that while this model comes with a handy little plastic lid to cover the stainless steel bowl if you have left over grind to save for the next day, you can not then return the grinding lid or cover to the device without having a gap
    • Anything lengthier than a five second pulse results in a medium grind caking the walls of the grinding cup to form a very effective cushioning layer which protects the remaining beans from being dashed to pieces against the cold steel
    • Now in the market for another stainless steel bowl, coffee grinder.
    • Probably will try to find something else, hopefully one with a stainless steel blade that isn't put together with plastic.
    • Don't be fooled by its fancy stainless steel casing.
    • The newer version has a small gap between the plastic top and the stainless steel grinding cup allowing lots of coffee grounds to escape while grinding.
    • I shopped it on the web and found that it costs about $28 -- $8 more than the brand new grinder I just bought to replace it, which is this one for $20: "Epica Electric Spice and Coffee Grinder-Stainless Steel Blades and Removable Grinding Cup for Easy Pouring" on Amazon Prime
    • The biggest design flaw is the interior contour of the plastic lid, which has a raised ring intended to fit the circumference of the steel grinding cup, but it just creates a hard to reach ring of coffee grounds that, after a few uses, are coating the entire plastic lid interior and the base, the steel cup, the counter, etc., requiring a lot of cleaning time
    • Additionally, I like the fact that the grinder is quite compact and can sit on my counter without taking up too much room, plus is stainless steel, so looks good
    • I got it in stainless steel so it also matches my other appliances and would look great just sitting on the counter.
    • We registered for this grinder because it was attractive (the stainless steel gets ya everytime) and the brand name attracted us
    • Also, don't put the stainless steel bowl in the dishwasher (it contains an oiled gear on the bottom and you don't want to wash that off).
    • The newer version has a small gap between the plastic top and the stainless steel grinding cup allowing lots of coffee grounds to escape while grinding.
    • This grinder has a stainless steel cup that detaches from the housing which is a nice feature.
    • It's relatively quiet and the best part is that there's not a lot of static in the stainless steel basket so the coffee doesn't cling and make a mess when you open the grinder.
    • Stainless steel makes it attractive
    • The problems are with the stainless steel/plastic cover.
    • Coffee grounds would spray out of the stainless steel cup and get all over the countertop when we removed the cover
    • Having this grinder enables me to save money because I don't have to buy a whole bag of oat flour, I just make the amount I need!Only improvement that I would like, is the fit of the plastic cover that comes with it for the stainless steel bowl
    • I particularly like the fact that the stainless steel grinding bowl disconnects from the grinder making it much easier to empty into the coffeemaker.
    • The blade on this DCG-12BC and it's bowl are quickly and easily detachable which means you can submerge the stainless steel bowl under water or dish washer and easily wipe it out.
    • We liked the industrial design and general look and feel of this stainless steel and pastic grinder but found the performance and reliability to be lacking.
    • About two years before that, the mechanism underneath the stainless steel cup became dislodged.
    • When using this coffee grinder, the ground beans spill over the top of the stainless steel insert into the inclosed area.
    • The bean / grounds cup is stainless steel and the axle that connects to the motor is brass
    • I have used the  KRUPS F203 Electric Spice and Coffee Grinder with Stainless Steel Blades
    • Once in my kitchen, I really liked the stainless steel cup and sleek design, but the cup-to-blade seal was loose and leaking
    • Also cuisinart has made this very cheap compared to the previous model.the entire unit used to be stainless steel now the top is cheap plastic.
    • Stainless steel finish makes for quick wipe down and cleaning as required
    • The stainless steel container is easy to clean and I have freshly ground beans (my preferred consistency) in 20 seconds.
    • Husband purchased it for me strictly because I wanted the stainless steel
    • I had earlier problems with the original, which were supposed to have been solved by a replacement stainless steel cup
