    Cuisinart Grind Central Coffee Grinder

    • I highly recommend you do not waste your time with this faulty product.
    • I used this grinder about a dozen times before it broke.
    • The entire time I owned it, before having issues with the motor, it was always very difficult to take the canister out of the base.
    • He said it grinds a good amount at one time enough for 3 pots of coffee
    • Sometimes I have a hard time removing the cup from the grinder.
    • Second mistake was not taking advantage of the 30 day return policy in enough time.
    • We received this grinder 3 years ago as a wedding gift and it has broken 3 times
    • I gave up on trying to replace this and try for another, more cheaper grinder to waste my time on.
    • It makes a fricking mess every time it is used as the grinds fly over the grinder bowl and Landon on the sides of the base lip and fall on counter
    • Ok, so first off, I bought two of these, thinking the premature failure of the first was a fluke, after about six months of daily usage (about 180 times) it started to separate from the base, both times this product has failed the blades come detached from the plastic washer that acts as a bearing
    • After it falling off several times the button broke off and then the cover cracked in 2
    • I think we used it 3 times before it completely stopped working.
    • I was just grinding a small batch of spices each time.
    • However, this time I was disappointed to find out that the cup size for the coffee beans has been decreased, so it grinds a smaller amount than this same model used to.
    • Bad timing
    • Used it twice, third time ran a couple seconds and died.
    • I wanted to grind my beans each time and dump them into the grinder with no clean up after.
    • I followed the instructions in the manual and ground my Starbucks Coffee beans for 20 seconds and it was A++++++ perfect grind every time
    • SO after 5 or 6 times of having to clean up in the morning (even though we cleaned the coffeemaker every day) we gave it away (even though it cost > $100) and bought another Cuisinart coffee maker without a grinder
    • The fifth time, the motor stopped working.
    • The new model has a smaller bowl for beans, so you have to grind more times.
    • The next time I used it, it stopped grinding altogether
    • grinder #1 died the first time we used it to grind 12 cups worth of beans, returned it and received grinder #2 which worked for 11 batches of beans then died.....grinder #2 is in the trash and will avoid Cuisinart coffee related products.
    • If we wanted fine espresso grind, it would grind for enough time for that
    • It seems the seal isn’t as tight as it should be .. many times the grinds overflow the cup even when half full
    • Worst fo all, it is not even as well no matter what combination you use (low vs large amount of coffee, grinding time up to to 4min.!!!!, etc.).
    • this time around I'd like one that I could take out and hand wash without damaging the unit
    • So if you want to waste your time and gas, buy it
    • The biggest design flaw is the interior contour of the plastic lid, which has a raised ring intended to fit the circumference of the steel grinding cup, but it just creates a hard to reach ring of coffee grounds that, after a few uses, are coating the entire plastic lid interior and the base, the steel cup, the counter, etc., requiring a lot of cleaning time
    • During our one-year ownership of this grinder, the cover fell off multiple times until it shattered (bad design; don't store the grinder on a high shelf).
    • I probably got a good 20 delicate grinds out of it this time.
    • A HARD TIME
    • I used to have the worst time tipping our old grinder upside down and making sure the coffee made it into the filter
    • second time shame on me
    • Bottom line: Don't waste your time on this grinder.
    • 2nd time we've been highly disappointed with a Cuisinart product
    • The first time I bought this and used it, it broke.
    • I used this product only three times and the plastic on the bottom of the cup broke off
    • Also have a hard time getting the cup out as it frequently gets stuck.
    • Solid coffee grinder, that lasts quite a long time
    • Motor burned up both times!!
    • However, it makes a mess every time I use it unless i only grind 4cups worth of beans
    • So we bought a second one, and this time, the cup was difficult to remove right from the start.
    • I spend more time cleaning the counter and grinder after grinding than I do loading and grinding beans.
    • So, if we wanted a course ground it would grind for just enough time to get course ground
    • I would buy this again, and Again, they do last a long time, and grind your beans very even
    • I can grind coffee for a couple of days at a time and it makes life easy.the only negative is that you have to hold down the button the whole time as opposed to others that let you set and go.
    • I have used the grinder about five times now, and I have discovered a new problem every time I've used it
    • No matter how many times I continued to grind, it didn't improve
    • The third time he used it, though, it just died in the middle of the grind.
    • I do not know the proper grind times and so my coffee is off
    • The second or third time I used it, the coupling on the bottom of the cup fused itself to the cup and will no longer turn, making the entire product completely useless
    • The grinder is not a loud grinder, it grinds the beans to the perfect texture every time
    • Then many times the grinder cup is hard to get off the base while it’s full of grinds.
    • I found that in general I probably ran it over a minute each time (and sometimes I could smell the motor)
    • It takes some time to grind the spices
    • It looked like it might ofbeen used a few times, very clean!
    • I heard a loud noise in it one time and found that the plastic around the blade broke
    • I'm not even going to waste my time replacing it; Krups is getting my grinder business once again.
    • I grind fine, medium, and course grinds all the time
    • this grinder makes a huge mess each time
    • Worked 3 times and then totally broke.
    • As they say, first time shame on you
    • Worked 3 times and then totally broke.
    • Don't waste your time with this machine
    • We've had it 4 months and had maybe used it 10 times before it burnt out
    • We have used it less than 10 times and the motor just burned out on us this morning in the middle of grinding a batch of beans.
    • Most times a dry paper towel will wipe it clean.
    • I mean i can bet that we've probably use this to actually grind beans less than 50 times
    • Great product , first time ever grinding coffee.
    • I used it all the time, but it died
    • Unfortunately, the first time I used it, the casing cracked
    • I finally used it one last time this morning to awake to the smell of not fresh beans but burning plastic as others here have previously mentioned.
    • Extreme waste of coffee and my time
    • The blade on this grinder does not spin as fast as the other two brands and so the process does not heat the contents which, in turn, keeps the clean-up time to a minimum.
    • and I strangely enough cannot find my warranty registrations on their website
    • This one is louder than the last one I
