    Cuisinart SG-10 Electric Spice-and-Nut Grinder, Stainless/Black

    • But then I was grinding a whole piece of nutmeg.
    • but now black pieces of plastic are breaking off inside it.
    • Didn't really grind the walnut pieces to a finer state.
    • Just to give you an idea of the lack of durability, I was attempting to grind 1 half-inch piece of galangal along with 2 two-inch pieces of lemon grass with about two tablespoons of other whole spices.
    • I think, I got the defective piece
    • What a piece of Chinese engineered and manufactured garbage this thing is
    • Also, the booklet notes that it will cost 10.00 to cover shipping and handling to repair their defective piece of equipment.
    • One problem with the bowl assembly being all one piece is that it's very difficult to clean the blades.
    • I got powder and coarse pieces as a final result.
    • The piece of nutmeg had somehow gotten wedged, stopping the blade forcefully
    • My small Kitchen Aid mixer popped a something or other inside an died (fortunately I have a large pro model, too), my immersion blender of 25+ years finally broke the tiny plastic piece that spins the shaft
    • Utterly useless piece of junk
    • Perfect I dried orange peel and ground it up.
    • I'm hoping Cuisinart will replace it so will update if I hear from them, but really bummed as I liked the grinder for what I was doing
