After removing the spare parts re formatting the Hard Drive installed my own version of windows its up and running fine

finally one that can handle my home theater pc and components; tv, xbox, stereo, hard drives, et al

DO NOT use powered hard drives/PC towers that depend on constant power without this.

I plugged the computer, monitor, and an external hard drive into the battery backup section.

The rest of the outlets are too close together and you definatly need an extension on each of them if you have other than a PC (modem, router, wireless phones, small speakers, external hard drives, etc)
