Called tech support again and they issued an RMA which I printed the slip and shipped back to them and they received it on 8/23/2019.

Tech support quickly sent new batteries and it worked great ever since!

This product was well protected, works as expected and was a good deal.

About every two weeks, the UPS has been unplugged for several minutes to test reliability of operation in preparation for true power failures and has been found to work as expected.

the display is nice and there are plenty of outlets to use.

Let it sit overnight and it looks as if its functional based on the display readings and lack of smoke coming out of the POS.

If I tuned it on while not plugged in, it worked on battery power, but it refused to work while plugged in which defeats the purpose of having it.

I might as well have had my router plugged into the wall for as much good as this did.

This could be a major issue if you have something critical plugged into it.

I did like the features and capacity of this unit but when push came to shove it failed to accomplish its main purpose.

I've lost power several times since hooking this thing up and it worked great.

But it gives you enough time to shut stuff off safely at least.

So far so good, I connected this to protect my PC and it works great.

Especially when using one with an incompatible PC can damage your PC

Cons:You can only connect one PC to be powered down when the battery gets low.

This UPS is for maintaining a yacht's internet and alarm notification at power loss

I use this only for my cable modem and wifi routers, and I get several hours of backup time in the event of power loss.

I purchased this unit 39 months ago and with a power flicker my unit just shut off

When the power flickers for a couple of seconds, the unit turns itself (and all "protected" equipment) off with no warning, no battery time for saving and shut down, no equipment protection.

Had no problems so far, functioned fine at each power flicker.

I then received email notifications of the power flicker.

Keeps mine running with all the outages & power flickers we get.

It claims there is no power flowing to it and plays the whining, shrieking, irritating sound they choose for these units for some reason.

On battery, it did make a loud buzzing sound

After trying to restart it twice, it made a loud clicking sound and started smoking

We have also accidentally overloaded it with a space heater and the battery responded with a loud beep noise and I remedied quickly
