Every time the electricity flickers, the modem crashes and you have to wait an ETERNITY
-
But it gives you enough time to shut stuff off safely at least.
-
And when the power flickered, the UPS would stop it from rebooting every time
-
It continues to drive me crazy several times a day with popups and dings and dongs...
-
The other is for my workstation and one of my 4K monitors, this will power both of those for 30-45 minutes which is just enough time for me to be able to switch to my laptop and or iPad pro to pickup where I left off
-
Nothing extreme high importance - just really wanted something to buy enough time to shut down safely.
-
I haven't lost power to my computer a single time since getting this
-
Just a blip in power would cause me to lose significant time and cause huge frustration waiting for the thing to reboot.
-
It worked the few times we lost power over two years, but today when power was cut, it immediately died
-
I've lost power several times since hooking this thing up and it worked great.
-
It has an alarm that tells you if it's having a hard time as well, so no nasty surprises
-
Works great in outages, allowing me time to turn off my equipment
-
Easy to charge up the first time, quiet, reliable
-
Worked on couple short-time outages, or rather service interruptions
-
I do love the real-time AC load and runtime readout in the software
-
If there were to be an actual blackout (which happens once a year in my area, usually over the Summer), its also great knowing that I have ample enough time to save whatever I am doing and shutdown the PC properly.
-
Contacted the manufacturer and recieved new batteries with no hassle and in good shipping time.
-
This would let me keep working a long time.
-
worked perfect the first time .
-
This product does work as a battery back up and has a reasonable backup time
-
Also, don't hook up a clock to this UPS, because the time will be completely wrong
-
It has an alarm that tells you if it's having a hard time as well, so no nasty surprises
-
every time there's a power interruption, it just shuts off
-
This was more than enough time last night for me to get up, unplug the Christmas tree, and flip the breaker back on
-
It worked the few times we lost power over two years, but today when power was cut, it immediately died
-
Gives me enough time to turn off all my electronics and has a nice alarm on it to wake me if it happens at night.
-
Gives me more than enough time to shut down and save my files.
-
Just a blip in power would cause me to lose significant time and cause huge frustration waiting for the thing to reboot.
-
Very simple to setup has worked flawlessly for months now and when I have had a few power glitches this thing has worked perfect every single time
-
First of all excellent customer service from Cyberpower, on hold wait time was very reasonable
-
worked great 1st 3 years, now half the time the lights dim - minor power interruption - Cyberpower beeps and turns everything off (even thought its say 100% battery charged) - in addition when power is restored the Cyberpower does not switch back on - just beeps... i have 3 of these and 2 of them already do
-
I have already used this device several times when the power had been knocked out in fall wind storms
-
I've been hedging about getting a UPS for a few years until I moved into a house with an "iffy" circuit breaker for the home office that would trip at the worst times.
-
Run-time, it is graveyard silent, a huge plus for my studio!
-
The only minus was that I had a hard time opening the PowerPanel software on my Mac.
-
so I wouldn't have reset the SoClean clock and clean time every instance of a power "flick" or outage.
-
So far so good, time will only tell.
-
Saved my computer like 3 times already lol, FU, FL
-
Also, it is actually not very fast, a few times, it failed to handle very short glitches
-
It gives us enough time to finish up or save whatever we are doing and shut the computer down safely.
-
And this kicked right in, allowing time to properly shut down our pain PC
-
so I get a lot of power fluctuations, brown outs and short outages and these Cyberpower UPS backups are ready for it every time
-
Good device overall and came in handy several times throughout the
-
More than enough time to check everything is saved
-
Time will tell how it works long term, and it’s protection effectiveness, but my initial impression is very positive.

I called OG&E to complain and they told our electricity was terrible (which everyone in town already knows) and they would not accept responsibility for my television issues.
