Probably due to enhanced power protection features while gambling future ones will have better QC and catch silly things like power-on button illumination not working.

Don't use any of the fancy software features, so cannot comment on their level of quality.

It has a lot of very nice features, not the least of which is the ability to turn off the power outage beeping from the outside of the case.

I get that it's a feature to save the UPS battery, but good grief, make a way to disable that feature

Much smaller than my previous UPS of similar power and the front panel display is a nice feature.

Best feature is the sine wave implementation of the battery back-up as opposed to the approximation method (step response pseudo-sine) used in cheaper units.

In an era where it seems like most products have been made as cheaply as possible to maximize profit, CyberPower has clearly taken the high road, focusing on product quality and a rich set of useful features.

Others use a "modified" sinewave which could cause problems if used on sensitive equipment or if used over long periods of time.-LCD is a nice feature as you can see the watts being used as well as other information such as volts, etc

Got it on sale, so features-to-price ratio was awesome.

Also The LCD display is a great feature to gauge load and other info

This particular series features “Sign Wave Power”, this technology is better than a simulated sign wave featured on other UPS as it creates a more consistent power stream for sensitive electronics

Have used CyberPower and APC over 10yrs, CyberPower seems to always have the right pricing with the right features.

This make and model offered significant features, being 1500VA and very nice voltage boost ability via an included autotransformer.

A nice feature is that you can hit the display button to see how many watts your PC is actually drawing.

It is quiet, reliable, has great features, and oh YES, the price is soooo right!!!

If so, this feature certainly works since the computer runs well until I turn it off.

Other than hopeless and helpless Customer Service, this unit with its pure sine wave feature has served me well.

We had a huge surge that burned out the APC I had and damaged the (5-yr-old) Cyberpower computer hooked to it -- I was able to pull of all my data (all backed up like crazy anyway) off -- but suffered through the horrid smell of electrical burning as I was doing it.

They're fully compatible over USB with Synology's UPS service, which can also then serve UPS states to other Synology servers as well as via NUT to Windows and Linux workstations and servers.

Works exactly as it should, has come in during blackouts, keeping my key equipment from crashing.

I hope the battery replacements I order someday real soon will serve me as well as

I love the user interface on the newly designed cyberpowers as they are easier to read with the upgraded displays and prevent you from accidentally powering everything off abruptly when accidentally tapping thew power button like they used to on the older models

Both work exactly as they are supposed too.

In testing, when putting it on battery power, the noisy-as-can-be fan comes on and will NOT shut off, even after an hour of being back on main power

Set up was easy and I've tested a couple times and it works as it should.

u will loose 2 plugs.the one the device uses and part of the plugs next to it for the block..

is last only couple month old and dead....call cyberpower they have 2 warranty department and if u get the right one u will have lady voice
