A mini-tower UPS with line interactive topology, the CyberPower PFC Sinewave CP1500PFCLCD provides battery backup, power protection (using sine wave output), and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, ...
Just received my order, this ups looks really nice and has a very good display
In testing, when putting it on battery power, the noisy-as-can-be fan comes on and will NOT shut off, even after an hour of being back on main power
I have not had any odors or issues as I have seen others write about
I recommend this .it looks nice and also has a nice display.
We had a huge surge that burned out the APC I had and damaged the (5-yr-old) Cyberpower computer hooked to it -- I was able to pull of all my data (all backed up like crazy anyway) off -- but suffered through the horrid smell of electrical burning as I was doing it.
I purchased this unit for its pure sine wave capability
I'll be building a new computer soon since apparently pure sine wave is so difficult to make work with a battery that it's not cost effective to buy the UPS that will work
Good little interface, super-clean output sine wave, no problems
These are perfect for anyone needing pure sine wave UPS
All CyberPower units in the past performed excellent as to battery backup, but adding sine wave is a game changer If you live in a new home with no power issues in your area, maybe not worth the extra cost for sine wave.
Works as advertised, nice features, good to have the PFC sinewave for a modern power supply.
but it's a solid piece of gear that works as advertised
Overall the unit works as advertised, and definitely worth the purchase.

No complaints, best feature is being able to silence the alarm - permanently.
An undocumented "feature" of all CyberPower UPS units is that if the machine detects any fault in the battery charger, the entire unit goes nonfuctional.
Nice having the USB power outlets on front, that is a very convenient feature.
This UPS is powerful and has many nice features as described by the seller

Using these to protect sensitive electronics in combination with a standby generator means absolutely no disruption from power issues.
I would suggest CyberPower hire one of the many now unemployed English professors and have the guy write up a decent User’s Maual in the tradition of APC.
With two(2) of these plugged into the exact same duplex outlet, the bad one(s) would cycle randomly, while the good one(s) would work fine, so this appears not to be a utility power problem.
I haven't had any power issues yet, so I can't say that it's 100% working properly

So most of my systems will automatically shut down in case of a power loss when the UPS is low.
It had 11 logged power loss events when I first powered it up,

and now I don't have to fear data loss from a power loss situation.
It alerts you with an F03 error and dumps the load immediately.
The latest one F03 error which does not come up in any online FAQ but seems to be the same as APC error which is a failure in the overload circuit and thus a dead UPS2 Stars... they work but they will die, even if you a small load and treat them well.
3 year warranty, died with f03 error in 3 years and 1 month.
My UPS Lasted 11 years before giving me the F03 error indicating it can no longer charge the battery
After 8 years, my UPS finally failed me w/ a sudden "F03" error
