    • The software was intuitive and easy to use.
    • You can download CyberPower's free PowerPanel software to shut down the computer properly during an outage.
    • The only downside is the software
    • This unit is quite (no high pitched noise) and has very clean & purposeful software.
    • sineware, great software, tower format, stable
    • I dislike the Cyberpower user interface software, because the program window is so small that it is extremely difficult to see the word font and the window size is not adjustable.
    • I have Windows 10 and the software is compatible and easy to learn
    • - Top-notch durability and quality- Excellent customer service -Monitoring software is useful and unobtrusiveThis beast was able to handle dual 780s in SLI with nary a hiccup

    • Software really only good for running tests
    • The software's good, the hardware's effective.
    • The software works fine, no problems there
    • excellent device, works as described, software easily installed and very informative.
    • In service for a couple of months, it does its job, Software is much better than the competition.
    • The included software is no-frills, but does work.
    • The free software helps monitor line voltages and can do a soft shutdown in case the battery gets run down
    • Version 1.6.2 of the software worked well, but its GUI was a bit of an eyesore
    • The included software is very beneficial.
    • It must operate by polling instead of being interrupt-driven, which is poor software design.
    • software doesn't support 4k very
    • Arrive on time and work as should be( software sloppy )but unit work perfect
    • The software is not too good since it says there have been no power failures even though power has been out numerous times.
    • I would like to see some better software, but the software does work.
    • great build and software sets up easy and has a lot of power do to its powering my gaming computer with no problem and can hold out for 6 mins with all that!!!
    • Besides, better written software would have simply disabled the old version while the new version was being installed, or stopped the process from running, etc
    • The software is great, and allows me to monitor all applicable parameters in real time.
    • Easy to use- User friendly software allowing auto-shutdown of PC- Upgraded LCD
    • If you want or need to do anything else, the software is painfully inadequate and doesn't merit being included with such a nice UPS.
    • But even after that, the software is garbage
    • The PowerPC Personal software is easy to configure to have the device automatically shut down the connected PC when necessary (your two options are “X minutes on battery” or “X minutes of battery life remaining”) and it works well enough
    • the software was easy to set up.
    • I love the software to hook it to your PC
    • My only complaint is the software
    • The software is a little buggy, so I stopped using it

    • The software works well, but there really isn't much going on in there
    • The software works fine, no problems there
    • The screen info is useful and the software that automatically turns off the computer in the event of a power outage is intuitive and works.
    • The software only works with Windows 10 with the older version Power Panel Personal Edition.
    • I only use it for battery, though, and don't use the included software (I use Linux anyway, so it wouldn't work)
    • Software is non-intrusive, and Windows 7 has native support for it to the point of it letting you
    • It read, "CyberPower PowerPanel Personal Installer” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software
    • No software to install, it just worked
    • In case of a power failure I would like the software to shutdown the PC but leave the router and cable modem going.
    • Great desktop software with all the options you could think of (the only complaint is that it can only support and control a single unit at a time).
    • If you want or need to do anything else, the software is painfully inadequate and doesn't merit being included with such a nice UPS.
    • With the APC PowerChute Personal Edition unit I had excellent software support and display showing everything I needed to know concerning the condition of the UPS.
    • Software is much better, and will shutdown the laptop should another power failure occur.
    • Very easy to install, and once the batteries are charged up it operates flawlessly with great software
    • This one avoids the common pitfalls of ancient, cranky software, overcharging the battery and producing sulfurous fumes, failing to charge a new battery, and alarms that are far too loud and refuse to be silenced.
    • Software seems fine
    • The software is great
    • The free software download gives you the critical information at a glance.
    • The only slight negative I see is the less than perfect software that it uses - room for improvement there.
    • My husband is a Software Architect and codes from home very often, before we bought the unit he experienced a couple of very frustrating crashes of his very expensive software he is using, during one of these surges
    • After some more research, I learned that the APC units also have sensitivity adjustments (H/M/L) that can be changed via their free PC software (PowerChute PE) via USB cable.
    • Software easy to install
    • The product website says " This software helps protect your data, computer system, components, and peripherals

    • The software is easy to install and provides straightforward information about status and performance
    • I preferred the old PowerPanel Personal software over the new version, but the new one works OK.
    • Wish the software was a little more robust but thats nothing to knock it for.

    • The software is also very easy to use.
    • I had to look through the Windows Running Processes and find the software (not that easy), and 'End Process' in order to finish the installation of the latest version
    • The software which you download from CyberPower is a breeze to install.
    • Free software download took some digging but is very comprehensive and user friendly and worked with this product without a fuss
    • Quiet and competent performer with good connection software for the computer.
    • software works perfectly as well.
    • software works perfectly as well.
    • The software is good (and not required), and at ~200W constant load with peaks into the 400W, I tend to get 20-30 minutes of battery life under a power outage, which is great because my area tends to get a lot of flickers/brief outages, especially in the winter.
    • Clearly the software is junk on the unit as it kills the battery after 5 discharges.
    • No software required to work with iMac.
    • With two(2) of these plugged into the exact same duplex outlet, the bad one(s) would cycle randomly, while the good one(s) would work fine, so this appears not to be a utility power problem.
    • I would suggest CyberPower hire one of the many now unemployed English professors and have the guy write up a decent User’s Maual in the tradition of APC.
    • it only burns about 100 W of power
    • This pure sinewave module has eliminated it entirely and is as good as when the power is on
    • Do not rely on this backups to protect ethernet as it failed in my case
    • We had a huge surge that burned out the APC I had and damaged the (5-yr-old) Cyberpower computer hooked to it -- I was able to pull of all my data (all backed up like crazy anyway) off -- but suffered through the horrid smell of electrical burning as I was doing it.
    • They're fully compatible over USB with Synology's UPS service, which can also then serve UPS states to other Synology servers as well as via NUT to Windows and Linux workstations and servers.
    • Works exactly as it should, has come in during blackouts, keeping my key equipment from crashing.
    • I hope the battery replacements I order someday real soon will serve me as well as
    • Arrive on time and work as should be( software sloppy )but unit work perfect
    • I have not had any odors or issues as I have seen others write about
    • but I'm not worried as I think this will work great for my home computer.
    • I love the user interface on the newly designed cyberpowers as they are easier to read with the upgraded displays and prevent you from accidentally powering everything off abruptly when accidentally tapping thew power button like they used to on the older models
    • Both work exactly as they are supposed too.
    • In testing, when putting it on battery power, the noisy-as-can-be fan comes on and will NOT shut off, even after an hour of being back on main power
    • Set up was easy and I've tested a couple times and it works as it should.
