    • I read that the pure sinewave voltage that the CP1500PFCLCD supplies is crucial for computer operation.
    • It also has a Pure Sinewave and Automatic Voltage Regulator so you can run your expensive computers and drives with "Clean" electricity and not worry about a big power spike
    • Without going into too much detail, it's best to match up an Active PFC power supply with a pure sinewave UPS
    • This reasonably priced, pure sinewave UPS is great!
    • Pure Sinewave cost more but is needed.
    • Simulated sine wave UPS is fine for most electronics, however, a pure sinewave UPS has has particular importance when it comes to computers
    • The sinewave detected and corrected 6 times in a 1 month period when the electricity was not perfect.
    • I bought the Cyberpower CP1500 UPS because it had great reviews and claimed to output clean "sinewave" power, which is important for motorized devices like pellet stoves
    • As a network admin, I had been sold on APC for years, but their Pure Sinewave products were outlandishly priced for a home-use budget
    • This model CP-1500PFCLCD from CyberPower is an adaptive SINEWAVE uninterruptible power supply
    • I bought this for use with my CPAP for the constant short term power outages i get at my house, and it does the job well without causing any issues since this does put out a pure sinewave and not an emulated wave
    • The pure sinewave tech fixed the problems I had with my old APC unit (BR1000G).
    • A clean sinewave is especially important when working with delicate electronics, computer etc.
    • The real deal here is the Pure Sinewave, todays processors and memory demands require a smooth flow of electricity to your CPU, don't be foolish and try to save a few dollars for non-sinewave or stepped Sinewave get the pure
    • It's got a pure sinewave output, which is exactly what you want for newer power supplies
    • This unit is Pure Sinewave
    • Yep, very useful sinewave output for driving inductive loads like blower motors in pellet stoves.
    • If you own a newer PC you really need the Pure Sinewave models as many others have explained in great detail
    • There's some great discussions on the internet regarding the truth's and myths of simulated vs pure sinewave
    • I put a scope on the output to look and the waveform while on battery and found it to be a clean sinewave.
    • If you need to know the difference between the two just Google the "difference between Pure and Simulated Sinewave" and there are plenty of websites that will help you find what you need for your usage.
    • Needed Pure Sinewave for new servers so this fit the bill for our needs.
    • Great pure sinewave UPS
    • I bought this particular model because its a pure sinewave UPS, for those that don't know what pure sinewave is you can research it, its for sensitive electronics
    • (But do be careful - CyberPower makes other series that look almost identical but do not have the Active PFC Pure Sinewave technology!
    • Getting everything I wanted and a pure sinewave output for under $200.00 is awesome.
    • It's a PFC Sinewave UPS (sometimes called a "pure sinewave UPS"), meaning that its output is a continuous sinusoidal wave
    • Even with CyberPower, you need to be sure you are buying this specific series or you will not have this 'Perfect Sinewave' technology which works on Active PFC power supplies
    • What useful function the pure sinewave is not of any help in my network situation.
    • This is my first UPS and I really wasn't familiar with them, but decided to get this based on the positive reviews, "clean Sinewave", and pricing
    • By going with a pure sinewave UPS, you're guaranteeing yourself safety
    • Very nice sinewave unit that gives you all kind of information on the display.
    • If you happen to get a UPS that is labeled as I did 'Adapative Sinewave' it is exactly the same as the 'Pure Sinewave' units
    • A genuine sinewave UPS, and I prefer it to APC despite the cost
    • Compared to APC you get a very inexpensive pure sinewave UPS that is hard to find for this price.
    • running.tl;drI you're looking for a UPS that will provide power to PC PSU's that need a pure sinewave to continue operating in a power outage and/or want to wake
    • I've learned since that it had to do with the square wave output from the UPS, and switched to this 1500VA pure sinewave model
    • I am not buying when people say you NEED pure sinewave for active PFC supplies, in my experience obviously that is untrue
    • I have had no problems with the pure sinewave output of these
    • The pure sinewave capability and number of outlets makes this unit perfect for me!
    • I needed the correct sinewave for the equipment I was backing up, so I opted to go with the more expensive unit
    • So the pure Sinewave is working great on that note.
    • Also nothing has lost power during the transition, so the pure sinewave is working
    • Also nothing has lost power during the transition, so the pure sinewave is working
    • I highly recommend this unit, you get a lot of bang for the buck compared to other pure sinewave units which are more expensive.
    • I didn't try it, but since it's pure sinewave you should be able to daisy chain another ups to this one, something you cannot do with simulated ups's
    • It is an Adaptive Sinewave (TM) UPS, which is fine for computer power supplies, but not so fine for sensitive electronics which require clean AC power.
    • These are a good sinewave and PFC compatible UPS for the price.
    • I was having problems with 3 other battery backup devices and after MUCH research I found out that my power supply needed a pure sinewave UPS instead of a simulated sine wave.
    • Best of all pure sinewave so no compatibility problems
    • The pure sinewave capability and number of outlets makes this unit perfect for me!
    • So the pure Sinewave is working great on that note.
    • With two(2) of these plugged into the exact same duplex outlet, the bad one(s) would cycle randomly, while the good one(s) would work fine, so this appears not to be a utility power problem.
    • I would suggest CyberPower hire one of the many now unemployed English professors and have the guy write up a decent User’s Maual in the tradition of APC.
    • it only burns about 100 W of power
    • This pure sinewave module has eliminated it entirely and is as good as when the power is on
    • Do not rely on this backups to protect ethernet as it failed in my case
    • We had a huge surge that burned out the APC I had and damaged the (5-yr-old) Cyberpower computer hooked to it -- I was able to pull of all my data (all backed up like crazy anyway) off -- but suffered through the horrid smell of electrical burning as I was doing it.
    • They're fully compatible over USB with Synology's UPS service, which can also then serve UPS states to other Synology servers as well as via NUT to Windows and Linux workstations and servers.
