    • I've been using this for years, and it has worked every time there was a power outage EXCEPT for a lightning surge
    • When I first found this UPS, offering pure sine wave on battery, good web interface, and large run-time like the competition had but with a way better price, I had to try it, and at first it was great
    • Took a long time to get a replacement - had to complain to get it shipped, but the replacement works fine, so overall
    • Hey as long as it works every time it was suppose to work

    • I did take time to put this review up because my house did not lose the power, it did lose power today, I used this power bank for my fish pump it was
    • Well, if your UPS is new, it's time to get a new battery, but my APC Smart-UPS 700 was over 15 years old, and had already gone through several batteries
    • This last time, prompting this review, it displayed an F03 code and whined
    • So even if I was gaming I should have more than enough time to finish what I am doing and safety shut down my
    • Has a good run-time when needed and a great interface when connected to your computer for monitoring it
    • When there is a power outage, this thing allows my computer enough time to either continue working/playing on the computer until the power is back or buy enough time to shut down for longer blackouts
    • so you can figure out a rough time frame just by looking at it
    • Not a good time to fail
    • Provides ample time to shutdown or to ride out a brief outage.
    • The screw wasn't marked and an emergency was not the time to have to be digging the owners manual out to find out how to get at the battery to disconnect it
    • I pulled the plug, and watched the reported battery capacity and run time drop like a rock.
    • My apt gets brownouts and power outages all the time and my server was not having a good time because of it
    • hasn’t done that I lost power a couple times and it works like a champ tried it on almost anything even
    • Some times people are just too sensitive
    • The run time isn't great, but it holds up through 90% of our issues, and if they last longer than this holds up then the power will likely be out longer than our bigger UPSs anyway
    • Not great if you're playing a MOBA or other competitive online games, but gives you enough time to at least shutdown and save if you're playing something offline
    • It's saved many HDDs, computers, and gear from failing multiple times
    • Looking back it should have been obvious, but around this time my Internet connectivity at my desktop dropped from 50 mbs to 3 mbs, and would occasionally fail completely
    • Performance and battery time are amazing.
    • Ten times better than my old APC unit
    • but I've been through several minor and major power outages and this has saved my PC from suddenly losing power or other potentially damaging electrical event a good 30+ times and is still chugging along.
    • The CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS has come in handy many times due to storms moving through my area
    • Of course, I haven't had enough time to see what the long term performance of the unit is
    • Completely uninterrupted power that gives you more than enough time to safely power down your PC or other devices with out worry of loss of work or file corruption
    • Took a long time, but works great.
    • Enough time to finish my work and to have a graceful shutdown.
    • Has helped multiple times when my power flickers and keeps my home server running
    • Tested power failure a few times since purchase, and it worked like equipment that would sell for much more
    • One other time there was a brief power interruption, about 20 seconds, and the desktop didn't even flicker.
    • I know those numbers are rarely accurate, but if nothing else it gives you an idea of what's going on, especially with equipment that doesn't have a monitor on it (I use one of these for equipment other than a computer). This week the power failed twice for about a minute each time, and the devices worked as expected.
    • We've lost power a few times and it has worked as intended.
    • Having this UPS has been great, not having my machines shut down and losing work and time when the power is only out for a second has been wonderful, and not having to worry about anything getting fried from the power wavering so much is great too
    • Provides sufficient time to save data during power outages.
    • gave decent lifeI didnt really give it enough time to fully judge it, but for now its 4 stars
    • I have brown outs several times a week and complete loss of power at least once a week and this UPS has worked flawlessly every time.
    • After reading reviews I'm not going to waste time and money to contact customer service
    • But this one is very good, My building had been suffering electrical problems lately and my UPS react at the right time
    • I have brown outs several times a week and complete loss of power at least once a week and this UPS has worked flawlessly every time.
    • That isn't stellar, but it was enough time for me to run to my local fish store and buy a battery powered air pump.
    • Almost five years later, it's still on the original battery, this unit has not failed me a single time
    • When the battery dies is usually time to replace anyway.
    • We've lost power a few times and it has worked as intended.
    • On my Dell XPS tower with 2 internal hard drives and 2 large monitors, it says I have about 10 minutes of runtime (love the front LCD display!), which is more than enough time to save my work and shut down the computer properly.
    • I know those numbers are rarely accurate, but if nothing else it gives you an idea of what's going on, especially with equipment that doesn't have a monitor on it (I use one of these for equipment other than a computer). This week the power failed twice for about a minute each time, and the devices worked as expected.
    • Has saved my computer work more times than I can count on one hand
    • However, based on that positive experience I decided to give CyberPower a second go on a larger UPS since I've got a few additional electronics I want to connect and would like some additional time to keep things running during a power outage
    • I bought this after my APC RS800 PRO unit died at a bad time
    • This has now happened multiple times this month, each time I lost everything I was working on, since I had relied on the thing
    • Tested it a few times, with a 250watt load and it consistently fails
    • I now have enough time to shut the computer down properly when I lose power
    • One other time there was a brief power interruption, about 20 seconds, and the desktop didn't even flicker.
    • It goes from 190 mins standard to about 55-60 mins of battery time if power shuts out which is more than enough time to save my sessions
    • Tested power failure a few times since purchase, and it worked like equipment that would sell for much more
    • Liked most of them, didn't like APC.This unit will keep your computer and network up during power failures and have adequate capacity to last a good long time (45+ minutes for me).
    • Worked like a charm several times already.
    • Backed up with CP's superior technical support that helped me to install this unit (and all of my equipment) correctly the first time
    • It lasted me a good long time
    • Long enough to bridge brief outages and if need be, enough time to save my work and inform my remote colleagues that I'm having power issues
    • That's MORE than enough time to finish what you're doing and shut everything down properly.
    • NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON
    • I have lost power at home 2 times while owning this UPS
    • Works well and gives me enough run time to shut things off properly
    • Still under warranty so tried to call Tech Support 5 times but always on hold and told that I am No. 2 in the cue yet never get off of hold.
    • Provides good run time, and with computer shut down will power my cable modem and wireless router for several hours, providing internet for laptop, tablets and smartphones, as the cable internet typically doesn't go out during power outages.
    • This would be enough time to backup any files i had before the laptop shut off.
    • With thunderstorms expected in my area tomorrow I decided this morning was a good time to retire my old UPS that was incapable of keeping my computer running, and deploy my new CyberPower Sinewave unit.
    • Works perfect, it's saved me several times
    • Don't really need it since MACOS monitors the ups by itself... but the Cyberpower app has more features than the generic MAC ups monitor... if it worked without having to reload it every time cookies are cleared.
    • For the price, this one blows others I've used out of the water with awesome functionality like No Beep! and great power outage time
    • Gives me enough time to properly shut down my computer
    • other times it'll surge, have lost computer components a few times and got tired of it
    • Perfect, and has protected my computer countless times already.
    • Looks good in specs and all, and works the first few times
    • The CyberPower has protected my computer multiple times from these power surges.
    • This last time, prompting this review, it displayed an F03 code and whined
    • I have tested it a few times, and it works great.• Hot Water Heater: I have a tankless water heater than learns my hot water usage patters over time
    • I've had this for three years and it still works great for giving me enough time for my desktop PC to shutdown gracefully
    • Well, not this time
    • Worse time possible, it powered off during a photoshop save and ended up corrupting it
    • That gave me about 26 minutes of runtime when I tried pulling the plug, which is more than enough time for me to shut down
    • I've lost power a few times since and everything went so
    • The machine worked perfect every time
    • Every single time, this one fails
    • It has been tested many times by my cat who likes to pull down the light switch on the wall that controls the socket it is plugged into
    • Available time on the UPSes is about as advertised, ranging between 10-30 min depending on what I'm doing at the time, certainly sufficient to shut things down if I needed to
    • Drawing ~100w the battery would last 55-60 minutes which is definitely enough time to save any work currently being done
    • Every time I reboot my PC, the USB connection between the UPS and the computer fails, and it won't re-establish the connection unless I manually detach the cable and reconnect it
    • But as long as the unit is unplugged, batteries removed, and given sufficient time to let capacitors discharge, it's not too dangerous
    • My power hasn't gone out for really long periods of time yet, (usually only for 10 minutes at most) but this UPS' display says it can run for an hour with my specific machines turned on plugged into it which is more than enough time to make sure everything is saved and can be safely turned off; and can also keep everything powered for over 2 hours with everything plugged in but in rest mode.
    • Works perfect and keeps my electronics working every time there is a power problem
    • This time it didn't hum and was silent
    • This unit runs the stove perfectly for 24 minutes...(along with my modem and wifi)...which gives me ample time to do a proper stove shutdown
    • is about 15 minutes which is more than enough time to properly shut down my machine
    • and I always had enough time to close my programs when I was working at the time of the power interruption
    • so she’ll be good to go next time as well.
    • first time i bothered setting this to shut down on its own if i'm at
    • If you want to monitor power usage during various viewing and programming formats it gives you a good real time display
    • They work well, seem to hold a charge and seem to have sufficient standby time for my servers
    • With that said, I felt that the third time would likely be the charm for my luck to run out
    • Worked smoothly under two “simulated” power failures providing 100 minutes of power (each time) and maintained internet access to the low-draw devices
    • They've worked flawlessly the two times we had minor brown-outs where I live.
    • not a big deal, still so far a solid product doing what it is supposed to, one time the room bulb flickered and the cyberpower beeped interfering in supplying the right voltage to my desktop, hopefully it lasts.
    • and then I have sufficient time with router and modem to bridge internet usage on iPad.
    • Looks like it will last a long time.
    • This is enough time for the server to finish up any file transfers
    • We have had brief power outages ( 5-10 sec) at least 10 times in the last couple of weeks and the UPS system has worked perfectly every time so I never lost my WIFY signal which sometimes took up to 2 hours or more to recover.
    • Manufacturer uses hidden firmware embedded in the core that kills your entire unit, not just the battery, roughly 2-3 weeks after the 4 years grace period they allow you to use it before error messages send you on a wild chase for parts you don't need and waste the money and time you don't have
    • if it was loud all the time, it would probably drive me crazy and be a deal breaker for me)
    • I overload the computer now all the time and it works better than ever
    • The units I got 3 years ago have saved me many times but this last time made them worth every cent spent
    • This is a huge difference and makes the APC more useful for critical up time applications.
    • Just as long as I have enough time to save my work and shut down
    • Lights flickered several times and this UPS never skipped a beat
    • I really like the display especially it letting me know how much time is left before the battery dies out
    • The PC, monitor and cable modem worked on battery the entire time and the switchover was so fast that the equipment never flinched!
    • This was just enough time for the power to come back on
    • It acts like it is running on battery all the time even when it is plugged into AC power
    • Never missing a beat when the power blinks, keeps everything running for almost 20 minutes , giving more than enough time for proper shutdown if needed.
