A compact UPS with standby topology, the CyberPower Standby CP550SLG provides battery backup (using simulated sine wave output) and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems....
The best feature is by pressing the silver button twice quickly you can shut off the alarm that goes off when the power shuts down
I don't think the non-replaceable battery is a dealbreaker for that reason--and surge protectors don't last forever, anyway, so at some point you probably will want to replace the whole thing if that feature is valuable.
Best feature over other battery packs I have tried is that you can turn off the alert:

Nice compact UPS, but be aware it only has 3 plugs for UPS backup and the other three are simply surge protection.
surge protection side still lets power flow thru, battery side dead 100%
Two outlets on the "surge protection" side and two on the "surge + battery protection" side accommodate large power adapters, and an additional two on each side fit regular size plugs

Bought to use with my sewing machine, nice size and and stand up or lay on floor.
Small size is perfect and the design/layout is what I wanted
Nice compact size, this is perfect for a workstation UPS.
its a PITA to find the batteries anywhere (weird size) and they make
If you don't get the most expensive, largest size, then you're effectively buying a surge protector that weighs a ton and takes up tons of space and only has four slots
It's a small price to pay for the insurance these things offer against losing your work when the power fails or worse yet a sudden power failure without time to shut it
Must have for clean power and long lasting electronics.
I have been sitting watching TV and the thing starts beeping for no reason at all without any power loss or interruption
It has almost never been used on backup because our power is so reliable here.
I keep getting errors that there isn't enough power coming to the battery side.
This product gave me enough time to manually shut down my firewall device safely and quickly finish a VOIP call because my VOIP box was attached to this UPS as well.
My own unit died the first time it was ever needed for backup power, which was within a week of installing it.
Contacted support several times and was hung up on or ignored each time immediately after providing receipt showing it was still under warranty.
It has screeched in the middle of the night a few times and in the daytime.
This is the worst thing that I have ever bought from Amazon.
With ONLY those two items plugged in, we're on pins and needles as to WHEN this dumb thing is going to overload itself and start its continuous beep (which won't shut off until you reset it, which means you have to shut
I was using this to keep our VOIP box and cable modem up during power outages and the whole thing died, not just the battery protection
The worst thing is that it will fail on you for no reason.
I bought this thing because every now and the power in my house will flicker, causing my computer to turn off and on quickly, which can be bad, especially if I'm in the middle of some work.
