CyberPower EC350G Ecologic UPS System, 350VA/255W, 8 Outlets, ECO Mode, Compact

    • You have to take the unit apart and CyberPower also does not publish any information on what model number battery it takes.
    • The Synology estimates a 40 minute battery life!It supports 100% of what the synology supports
    • I will stay with APC or someone with a replacement battery available.
    • this one does not have a user replaceable battery.
    • Using the ECO outlets was really the only reason for my purchasing a CyberPower over an APC as only the APC has replaceable batteries.
    • The battery is a commonly available, commodity 12V 5AH AGM battery
    • Battery is fine and is holding charge, but I'll continue to monitor it
    • There is enough runtime to get you through a typical brownout with no lost work, and enough battery power to gracefully shut down without losing important files
    • and it's probably good enough for my purposes--basically I'm using it as a glorified power strip for my TV, receiver and Blu-ray player that will also provide enough battery
    • You don't want to buy one that provides too low of the amount of voltage/wattage because then it will drain the battery and be useless and at times can overheat and probably burn up
    • However to be fair, I am replacing my 2nd small cheap APC 350 unit that had a replaceable battery and died despite the battery still working.this one sits in a closet providing power for a small switch and 3 wireless AP power injectors.
    • Equality battery backup unit that has the most plugs though this one may be a little bit more expensive but it is worth it though you cannot change the battery when the battery dies but buying a genuine OEM battery cost more than half of what the unit cost though maybe you could take apart and remove the battery though the wires could be soldered to the
    • The battery was drained completely and the cost to replace that wasn't worth retaining the product - and they are pretty useless without the battery backup
    • The clients that I have recommended CyberPower units are 6-7 years old and batteries are still good.
    • Decent battery for the money.
    • Be aware that these units cannot be returned to Amazon due to "safety" regular or something to do with thetoxicity of the lead acid batteries
    • Great battery back up
    • but I get this annoying low battery popup on my new
    • When a manufacturer makes it difficult it could be that the batteries are not user replaceable
    • I recommend that if you buy this product, test it after you have charged it up by unplugging it and seeing if the battery is working for your supported devices
    • Is it leeching off the battery to make up for the power deficit?
    • It does not look like you can change the battery on this unit
    • so really it has enough battery life to last me less than 5 minutes though
    • Equality battery backup unit that has the most plugs though this one may be a little bit more expensive but it is worth it though you cannot change the battery when the battery dies but buying a genuine OEM battery cost more than half of what the unit cost though maybe you could take apart and remove the battery though the wires could be soldered to the

    • It is several years old and the original battery still works well.
    • I contacted their customer support since the device died, they said oh the battery is likely dead you'll have to buy a new one
    • Great backup battery
    • Battery back-up died after a couple weeks
    • Very nice battery backup
    • The only thing it lacks is a user-replaceable battery, I feel bad about having to recycle a whole device every 4-5 years.
    • But I finally had an extended outage that drained the battery on this unit
    • I needed to send the unit back because the battery was dead when I first got it
    • Also, this unit does not have a replaceable battery; it's completely sealed
    • I aborted the 4th opening and turned the breaker back on so as not to drain the battery too deeply, but yes, this works and is a much cheaper alternative than replacing the entire GDO unit for $350 + installation or to add a garage door branded battery backup for $150 if it was even compatible.
    • After one hour of use, my PC was unexpectedly shut down because the battery was drained.
    • battery back up could be better
    • Priceless Battery Device when installed, never ever havin power failure problems since or the endless resetting and more
    • So when I decided to beef up my computer system to a real desktop, I knew I needed something where the power could be relied upon, much like having a battery in a laptop
    • Remove 4 screws and the battery is easy to replace..
    • the software that comes with this product is a mess, the self test bottom is not working, and the software doesn't recognize when the power is off, and therefore doesn't turn off the computer automatically, (it was working in the beginning, but only in the beginning)Please remember, the battery is good only for 4 minutes at most, even if it is hooked up only to one desk top computer and one monitor.so if the software is not turning off the computer when the power off within 4 minutes the computer will crash and you will lose any information that you did not save
    • Battery works as suggested except for one major problem
    • this particular model doesn't have a replaceable battery, which is why 4 stars instead of 5
    • The UPS senses the computer being turned off via the USB connection, and cuts power to some of the surge-only outlets as well as the battery outlets
    • Even though after 100 mins there is almost full battery available, it turns off - showing capacity of 0
    • use this a lot for computer system protection from power loss for a few secs every so often.had to add something its been 4 yrs so battery done good so far but now dying within secs of lose in power and nowhere can info on replacement info be found so like all my other ups I opened it up and found the info and sharing it the battery type is SH1228Ws 7Ah
    • No outage has yet been long enough to drain the battery
    • The only thing that I haven't checked yet is I do not know if the battery is replaceable or not
    • Great battery backup
    • so I don't know how long it can go for after the power goes out before it no longer has enough battery juice left to open the door, like in the case of an hours/days long hurricane.
    • Really short battery life -- and annoying.
    • I haven't done a real run-time test because I don't like to stress out batteries unnecessarily, but the four items I listed only put a 10% load on this rig and the projected run time is just a little under an hour.
    • The 850 is an all around good battery
    • I have sufficient runtime and (B
    • great product with plenty of outlets that are well spaced, and it works as
    • Works as it should, only need this for a few minutes for brown outs and power blinks
    • So far, works as it should.
