You have to take the unit apart and CyberPower also does not publish any information on what model number battery it takes.

The models with the LCD screen are nice - not necessary, but helpful - I like knowing the capacity percentage and available uptime.

Like it was said in other comments, it would be nice to have more ways of monitoring electricity like in more expensive models, but I guess that's how the higher priced one's sell.

I would suggest going with a different model, this model is obviously flawed

Got this as a replacement for a busted APC model

I picked this model as opposed to some of the others listed because the lights on it are smaller (I use this for my laptop, cell phone, etc, charging in my bedroom), and because the plug holes were set wider which makes it easier to utlize them all.
