That unit was old enough that I had already replace the battery once, but it still protected the equipment attached to it.
-
I think it's the best unit for the money
-
Very affordable UPS for when you need compact unit for your networking closet etc.
-
There does not seem to be a replacement battery for the unit so once the battery fails the unit is basically junk.
-
No need to toss the unit when the battery eventually expires, no more than ten minutes with a
-
Unit appears sturdy and well worth the price
-
One is you can *NOT* return this to Amazon - they will send another unit and ask that you properly dispose of the bad unit.
-
First night after full charge, the unit was completely drained
-
but I like the unit
-
Would recommend this unit to anyone.
-
I picked this model because it was the cheapest unit with a display and USB option that also takes off the shelf batteries.
-
I'd recommend this unit for most home network use.
-
I've tested this unit to support my 140 watt desktop computer just fine
-
The tech then asked if the unit still worked after the power drop, which I respond it doesn't - this is why I got an UPS.He then shot back - "Unfortunately it sounds like your unit is defective.
-
If power flickers this unit goes into alarm and does not back up anything
-
nice unit plenty of outlets, warning alarm not overwhelming.
-
Other than that the unit is very nice at a great price.
-
Great unit.
-
The unit has the capability to shut off other peripherals plugged into the non-uninterruptible outlets, but only of the UPS itself is connected to a computer via the included USB cable
-
This unit also has TWO outlets on both battery and surge sides for oversized plugs: this is another feature lacking on more expensive units
-
I've had several APC small UPS units of the same type and this unit has been reliable
-
So far this unit has performed well and I have not lost any data
-
At any rate, I do not know if this unit works well or not, but it definitely will not work with anything that has an active PFC power supply (most newer computers).
-
The tech then asked if the unit still worked after the power drop, which I respond it doesn't - this is why I got an UPS.He then shot back - "Unfortunately it sounds like your unit is defective.
-
These are excellent units.
-
Good unit has more features than I need.
-
I ordered a better unit on Amazon and will be discarding this unit when my new one arrives
-
The first couple times I simulated the power being cut, the unit failed
-
Now if they can offer a competitive rackmount server unit........
-
This action will kill the units
-
I've only had this unit for 3 weeks, but so far - no problems!
-
UPDATE: 3-10-2014THE UNIT HAS MALFUNCTIONED AND DOES NOT WORK
-
people wondering how powerful the 850VA unit is
-
this excellent unit resolves that and many more issues like still watching the tv when the power flickers or goes out momentarily.
-
Strongly recommend this unit.
-
Love this unit
-
and I would have thought a defective unit, but my question to their support department went completely ignored so obviously its normal, right?Complaint #3:
-
the unit held power just fine, no problems.
-
I don't know how APC would have handled it because I have never had a bad unit, but I feel they should have covered it
-
Unit is great for small units, but not for bearded dragon tanks :-p
-
This seems like a great little UPS unit
-
They fully acknowledged that what it was doing is a malfunction and their unit is defective / faulty and they will exchange it
-
This unit works as advertised, but be aware that it will not work on generator power.
-
I also have the CyberPower BRG1350AVRLCD UPS and that unit has been flawless
-
This is a nice unit - I haven't looked at all the features yet, but I'm happy with this product.
-
I did a lot of research and talked to computer experts - they said this was a great unit.
-
However, I am deducting 2 stars: one because the unit is not durable and a second because I believe the experience of buying it through Amazon should also be reflected in an Amazon review
-
This product tends to have great reviews, and the possibility I happened to get two defective units, however remote, does exist, so rather than one
-
The unit now continually produces a clicking noise and continually turns the items plugged into the non battery backup of and on quickly...repeatedly
-
They refunded me the money and told me to throw away the burnt out unit
-
This is a pretty good unit by all accounts.
-
Very nice unit - not too big or heavy (for a UPS)
