D’Addario Accessories Pro-Winder Guitar String Winder and Cutter – All-In-1 Restringing Tool – Includes Clippers, Bridge Pin Puller, Peg Winder – Designed to Fit Most Guitars

    • The metal on the 'cutter' is too soft, and the action too sloppy, so instead of cutting the string, the cutter itself ended up getting a string-shaped divot in it which makes it useless for cutting
    • When trying to cut the thin strings, the metal of the wire cutter actually got dented by the string, since the string is made of a harder metal than the winder (I'm using D'Addario strings, they're not any harder than usual)
    • Since I know better than to use wire cutters on guitar strings (especially bass guitar strings) since they are made for soft metals like copper and aluminum, I got these as soon as I started learning to play bass.
    • Out of the box it feels like cheap metal / plastic
    • These cutters snip the metal so much easier and shorter than a pair of pliers do
    • Not to mention, I have injured myself several times because in order to get the string cut you have to engage the clipper, then twirl the string around in circles to weaken the metal enough to break, instead of being cut, and have had my finger impaled on the adjacent string end on many occasions causing much bloodshed
    • It's a cheap metal of some sort, on the first use the metals scraped together, making it difficult to use and the handle bent

    • Poor quality, cheap metal, cheap plastic, and the product arrived deformed
    • The first time using it wouldn't cut the B string or high E string, very disappointing.
    • It runs the entire gambit of emotion where you are almost to that magical D flat (or likely E for some folks) only to have the string lose its tension and require even more tuning
    • n’t work that well
    • Works as it's supposed to, and it was very reasonably priced as an add-on item with other things I was already buying from Amazon.
    • It works as it should, efficiently turning the tuners on the guitar and helping making replacing strings a simple job
    • It works as it's supposed to
    • Works as it should.
    • Everything else works as it should, however.
