Good product for anyone who hates putting new strings on!

It made changing my strings go a lot faster.

It squeaked and "ground" against itself as I wound the strings

I found that it is reasonably comfortable to use shen winding, despite the awkwardness of holding the string cutter as the handle for the winder

Good as a string winder, but pretty much useless as a string cutter

It's a great string winder and I have no complaints

The nippers are sharp and leave a clean cut string end

Not to mention, I have injured myself several times because in order to get the string cut you have to engage the clipper, then twirl the string around in circles to weaken the metal enough to break, instead of being cut, and have had my finger impaled on the adjacent string end on many occasions causing much bloodshed

Changing strings has always been a dread...and speaking of dread(s), my strings would always be hanging like some wild einstein hair because I never had clippers

It's great for winding and tightening your strings when you put new strings on your guitar however the pin puller does not work very

And it cuts the strings like butter

Cuts strings well and winds the strings pretty good but the peg remover part not that great

The string twists between the two cutter pieces.

The only thing - be sure you are winding the right string or you end up with a broken string (something hard to do if you are winding using your fingers).

The only thing is that the clippers struggle cutting the really thin strings, but punches through the thick ones with ease.

Kinda chintzy for the price, but it's really not a shop tool, just an emergency string winder to keep in the case if a string breaks on a gig

If you break a string during a gig or on vacation and you have one of these with you it is very nice to have

Was able to cut through the first 3 strings easy enough, but by the G, B, and E strings the cutters had already worn down and would not cut the strings at all.

Stripped down one of my basses at the weekend, found this very useful, made stripping and replacing strings really easy

I much prefer a small pair of diag.cuttersand a cheap plastic string winder with built in bridge pin puller.

The cutters cut strings like butter, and the winder works pretty good.

Awesome little gadget especially if your strings breaks, in between sets you can easily change a string in under 1 1/2 min and I'm not really fast at changing

It's no problem once you have some of the strings already removed you can just reach into the sound hole and push from below but those first 3 strings or so...uigh!

Cutting the 1st(High E) and 2nd (B) string is near impossible, also the winder is too jammed

It can be very easy to over wind the string, especially using one for the first time, it can be very dangerous with breaking strings hitting face or eyes

Super cheap materials and overall not a good string cutter.

, it won’t cut those small gauge strings, just bend it, and ruin the tool, if you want a nice strings cuter just buy a wire cutter, don’t wasting your money on this, but I have to say, the studs polar and the winder works great.

I 100% recommend this product, it cuts the strings perfectly, it winds the strings with ease , and if your using acoustic guitar you can easily take out the string pegs :)

Before I used needle nose pliers and a string winder and sometimes wire cutters if the needle nose didn't cut the strings right.

but I think most people would be better off getting a good cutter and a good string winder as separate items.

It runs the entire gambit of emotion where you are almost to that magical D flat (or likely E for some folks) only to have the string lose its tension and require even more tuning
