This is the best tool I have ever used for changing guitar strings.
-
The crank handle broke off after some hard use, however I was amazed to be contacted by the manufacturer and offered a replacement
-
Junk; it won't hardly cut strings; hinge tightens every use, and now the rivet is so tight you need both hands to open the pliers
-
but I'm sure this will easier than scuffing my guitar using needle nose pliers.
-
and this is by far the best one i have used
-
This is a nice multi use tool.
-
Broke on first use.
-
Good use of cheap material
-
It was a little awkward using the winder with it attached to the tool
-
I get the price-point is low, but so is the quality, and it broke on first use
-
Awkward at first, being used to several tools, but harder to lose and getting used to it.
-
I don't like the winder (I have marred a guitar using one in the past
-
The only problem i have is it doesn't cut as well as it use to
-
The first time using it wouldn't cut the B string or high E string, very disappointing.
-
It runs the entire gambit of emotion where you are almost to that magical D flat (or likely E for some folks) only to have the string lose its tension and require even more tuning
