Personally I have really high acid levels in my skin, so these don't 'deaden' as fast as almost every other brand has for me

When I first started playing guitar, I chose Ernie Ball (because that seems to be the most well-known brand)

I've used these strings for many years they don't break as easy as some other brands and they stay in tune well.

This doesn't mean that these strings are bad, it just means I might prefer Brand X Pure Nickel on one guitar because they're darker and Brand Y Steels on another because they're brighter and Brand Z on yet another

Amazing sounding strings for drop B/C tuning, even clean

String is great for metal and low tuning as well as for bluesy riffs

Not too bright, not too dull, lasts as long as they should not being coated.

I like these on my SG for Drop D for a little extra tension where I need it
