D’Addario EXL110-3D XL Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings, Regular Light Gauge – Round Wound with Nickel-Plated Steel for Long Lasting Distinctive Bright Tone and Excellent Intonation–10-46, 3 Sets

    • Good set, though the lowest string isn't thick enough for me
    • I will give them another try in hopes of a better set, but if this is the standard then D'Addario should really consider the extended scale of 8-string guitars and ensure the strings are wound far enough.
    • and I bet always will make an outstanding product just this set was just not as good as it normally is
    • If you want a great set of strings these are them.
    • Always the Best set of strings for all of my electric guitars.
    • When I took up the fiddle in 2010 I happened upon a cheap set of DAs for $20 from Hastings.
    • Very nice set of 8.5's for those times you want to play with less tension than 9.
    • Thought it was a bad set but did the same thing with all 3.
    • I'm still in search of the "perfect" set of strings.
    • The other D'Addario 13's set (its called EJ22) is basically the same except that it has a 56 low E, so its much floppier than the other strings and this set doesn't have that problem
    • Just about the perfect sting gauge set for this noob
    • Nice set of strings
    • Great set of guitar string perfectly made for your electric guitar
    • If you like these strings buy a set of 3 just in case a string breaks
    • 8-string sets.)The set's intended 7th string (.064) does work as a 7th string on my second, longer-scale (26-1/2"
    • Slap a set on your rig and let your ears be the jury.
    • 3 nice sets of 10's for a decent price
    • If you're looking to try something new, it's a good set to experiment with
    • great set of strings here
    • Nothing like a fresh new set of string
    • Without getting long winded, I had three high "E" strings unravel at the ball end, and one set that just wouldn't stay in tune, maybe some strings unraveling?Besides being out 4 sets and having a lot of frustration, I soldered the high "E" ball ends on the 2 sets left, a suggestion from Google, this is a thing, look it up
    • Found my perfect set for a whole step down (D-G-C-F-A-D)
    • A user-friendly, economical string set for short-scale
    • My new favorite set for 3/4 size electricguitar.
    • They have an incredible lifespan on them and a fresh set gives an amazing brightness and full tone
    • This 11-52 set is great for heavy rock / metal that I play because you can tune down to lower tunings without the strings going spaghetti on you.
    • The first two sets of strings were fine, loved them
    • Great set of strings, and an even better price.
    • 10-75 set was horrible on my fingers and I could not do any bends whatsoever
    • When I go on tour, my bandmates and I all burn through strings like crazy, so having a 10 set is ideal.
    • I have yet to find another string that has the tone and feel that a fresh set of Daddarios has
    • I like the 10 sets, and it may be my
    • The hybrid sets are great allowing me to find just the right tension set for my playing style
    • A very strong set of strings for the price
    • If you like these strings buy a set of 3 just in case a string breaks
    • My favorite set of strings for Les Paul style guitars, especially if you play Classic Rock.
    • I've used these strings since the early 80's and they are a good basic set
    • This set is perfect for me as I use to use 9-42 on my fender a few years ago and it was beyond perfect and this set emulates the feeling I had on my fender except with the added B and F# which I tune a half step down which is one tiny problem with this set, is that the low B and F# on this set is a little slinky on my 8 string which I'm aware is due to the fact that it's a lower gauge than the 10-75 set I used prior to this one
    • Great set
    • These effects are often over-stated in the marketing materials of coated-strings: they are real, but they are not usually anywhere close to the first thing that kills a set of strings
    • Just about the perfect sting gauge set for this noob
    • Great set of strings, they make an awesome improvement in the sound of my guitar
    • Great set of strings, they make an awesome improvement in the sound of my guitar
    • sets depending--but to me the EXL117 is just the perfect set for my primary two guitars
    • 10 - 46 is the best set for electric guitar, and D'Addario has perfected the best metals to go into these strings.
    • I'd recommend these, a set of 3 for this price! One star down is for the "too" metallic feeling and sound
    • My son uses strings all the time and he tried this set and like it.
    • Like the Pyramids, this set is round wound, which means that there's a little more play in the strings than you might find on a hex wound set
    • It goes out of tune very easily and now I have an incomplete set of strings
    • Not a great set for multi scale, but probably offers more even tension across shorter scale necks.
    • Overall a great set of strings.
    • These are a great set of strings
    • Some of my guitars have had the same set of D'Addario strings for a few years and haven't broken yet
    • Awesome set of strings.3 pack that should cover me for a little while, and great pricing.
    • The balanced tension D'addario's are the best set of strings I've had on my 04 American standard Strat in ten years.
    • Great set of strings.
    • just my personal favorite set of strings over GHS & Ernie Ball.
    • Occasionally I'll break a string stretching a new set, and I mean occasionally
    • This set of strings solved a problem on both my Gibson and my Epi
    • like I install the 3 sets right
    • My favorite set of strings to use
    • 1st set, i didn't break any strings.
    • I have 20 sets of XLs and 10 sets of NYXLs in the studio closet right
    • My ESP came with a set of Cleartone 9/42's on it, but the high E was busted
    • I like a lighter gauge string for bending, but the E and A on the strings I was using were too thin sounding.
    • One high E string broke while putting it and two strings broke as soon as you do a bend
    • Low E-string broke before I even put any tension on it with the tuning key...first and last time I buy anything from D’Addario.
    • Especially the low E's thanks to my prints
    • The high E string broke in less than a
    • n’t feel great about the durability of the strings from this purchase.
    • n’t broke
