No booming over-ring, and my guitar actually sounds like my guitar, not some generic piece of wood and metal

On crappy guitars, sure, it can be nice to hear the string instead of the guitar, but if you have a deep-sounding, solid-wood Martin, Guild or Gibson, that's unnecessary
