On my Breedlove guitar (spruce top with solid rose wood back and sides) these strings have a bright but balance tone.
Amazing breadth of tone, especially strong mids, incredibly enhancing the guitar wood's tone (brings out such a beautiful woody tone)!
On crappy guitars, sure, it can be nice to hear the string instead of the guitar, but if you have a deep-sounding, solid-wood Martin, Guild or Gibson, that's unnecessary

I like the bright nickel finish, though the red phosphor bronze strings really flatter my koa Alvarez Yairi
However in comparison they do not perform as well as the Nickel Bronze.
D'Addario has taken a nod from strings of the past, and like Martin's "Retro" series of strings (which I still find too garish until they break in, taking ages), John Pearse's Pure Nickel (which can be a little dead on some guitars), and a few others, these strings are meant to let you hear more of the nuance of the guitar and less of the string itself.
, “Nickel Bronze delivers unrivaled clarity, resonance and projection” is probably true, based on my limited strings experience.
If you love your Taylor as I do but want a bit more body and easier top end, these are a must try
They stay tuned well and have a nice crisp n' brifht sound
Not only do these strings sound good from the top E string to the bottom E string, I noticed that the sustain is excellent and I'm tuning my guitar's less often.
2 days in, E string broke
These NBs are in a different sonic bracket, with the amazing Taylor clarity and sustain obtained with the best of the others, but with a smoother, more balanced top end and the strongest, clearest bass

So this is a nice easy set, they make a custom light set too (11-52) if you really need a break
I wouldn't recommend them for immediate use in stage or studio as they don't sound good at first, but if you want one good set of strings that will last for a while with good tone and even intonation, I think they're a good buy
I have a set of Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze on my resonator and I love the bluegrass sound that comes out of them

-Good strings-bright sound-perfect size
It can be difficult to find a string that can make my narrow bodied guitar sound as rich as a full sized acoustic, but these did the trick!

Balanced Tension improves tone and “feel” all across the fretboard
really like the tone of these strings, dark and bright at the same time, it's going to be hard to want to try something else after playing these for the last couple of months
You need to decide if you like the tone, but I think you will.
Great sound, once these strings are broken in they have a very true tone
Really enjoy the warm tone these strings have given my martin D16
Have a lovely Martin with unbelievable tone and sustain
They stay tuned well and have a nice crisp n' brifht sound

So the day after playing a bunch these feel great and sound great, the martins sounded great but felt a but crusty by comparison
Normally I put 80/20 Bronze strings on it for a well balanced sound
There okay strings, they were packaged very poorly, the B and E (1st) were very tangled and my E broke as I was putting it on the guitar

I expected that the B and E would feel a little slack, but they didn't really feel that different from the typical light gauge set

Loses its brightness rather fast, but these are not bright strings.
