Unlike the Persona series though, during the main play through of the story, you pretty much only have enough free time to max out one character.

Similar to the first game (and Persona series), you get to spend your Free Time to try to max out the character's Report Card and to learn their background.

I feel as though it's an improvement over the first game, since all characters now have 6 possible free time events to more fully flesh out their background, and I felt more attachment to the characters in this game compared to the first
