First, the titular "refutation bullets" that you use to refute false statements aren't used consistently

The class trial consists of 4 main sections: Endless Debate, Hangman's Gambit, another section consisting of destroying false statements in time with music, and the Review

Weak statements are shown as text in a different color (yellow if I remember correctly)

Once a weak statement appears that you believe you have a truth bullet that contradicts it, select that particular truth bullet (by pressing 'L') and fire it at the statement (using triangle)

Endless Debate - you are given certain truth bullets (between 1 and 6) to use against weak statements made by other characters

In some parts of the game, you are meant to use refutation bullets to support true statements

Each time you destroy a statement, their health is chipped away.... vice versa if you miss statements, you lose health
