I highly recommend this waffle iron.

The iron is ready when the green light *also* turns on

The waffle iron cooks the waffles well, only a tad bit uneven

Personally, I prefer "flip" waffle irons

There is a light to indicate when the iron is hot enough to use, but there is nothing to indicate that the waffle is done (no beep or anything), so it makes it a bit of a guessing game

Though, of course, you have to use caution with the hot iron
