Now, today, the front connector wire has lost the left channel, leaving the unit pretty much unusable save for monaural sources

I haven't even had the thing a month, and the right channel is already gone.

The right channel is quieter than the left channel at all volume settings, and at low levels cuts out completely.

I'm not quite sure, but I think it MIGHT (read that again, MIGHT) have been the cause of the tweeter on my right channel speaker blowing out.
