I love the glossy reflective display, and the thin bezels

It seems now is the time to get a reasonable priced 1080p display because everyone is going 2k or 4k.

(- no left/right rotation but its light enough where you can just shift it)+ Black level and back light uniformity- Speakers (crap but could be nice as portable HDMI display in a pinch)- Reflective screen (but fine unless you have a bright window behind you

They could be useful for a portable Xbox display but don't expect much from the speakers

The monitor displays fine with VGA and HDMI but only at 1776 x 1000 resolution and lower, but when set at 1920 x 1080 the text are blurry

I love the glossy display and it really does have a 1/4 inch edge

somehow i did not liked any of them as display looked either very bleak or washed out

If you just need a cheap larger display for your laptop with no frills than this will do the job.

It would have been nice to have display port but HDMI works great and the cables can be acquired on the cheap

If you want to take advantage of the image quality that a good IPS display can provide, but would prefer to keep the price on the lower side, this Dell S2415H is hard to beat

I have had a slightly smaller (21 inch) very expensive apple cinema display for years

I like the display overall

So the compromise for me would be a good 1080p display with In Plane Switching, or IPS

This display is awesome , I love it

I used it at work as well as at home.

As you can see from the pics I put I tilted the monitor to show you the worst it an be, this is hot summer right now around Christmas time for me with blazing sun and glare as you can see once you do not purposely set up your monitor to reflect the outside or a light source you will have no issues at all
